Future message to KeepMovingOn:
Hello again scum buddy. I hope you are ready to have some scummy fun this game. I would say the most important thing to remember is to have fun and don't be nervous.
Have you had any mafia game experience at all? It looks like on this site you have not, which is fine. Just curious as to your game experience.
Right off the bat, be active but not too active, aim for middle of the road activity. Sometimes over active players get scum read, which I think is silly, but also players who don't get involved tend to be called out and, for very good reasons, should be scum read and possibly lynched.
In terms of our interaction, treat me like the other 7 players in this game. If I do something that seems to be town motivated, say something. If I do something that seems scummy, call me out. Every post doesn't have to be about me but at the same time you shouldn't ignore me. Find that balance between putting me up on a town pedestal and dragging me completely through the mud. This will really be scrutinized down the line in late game so we don't want to make it look too obvious that we were really interacting with each other (theater) or completely ignoring each other. Also if we were at each other's throats (bussing) or buddying up to each other too much either way it's usually sniffed out down the road.
Finally, we know we're both goons so the setup could be:
-Cop alone
-Doc and Tracker
-Jailkeeper alone
-1-shot Bulletproof and Tracker
Keep this in mind when players are posting because we want to try and sniff out those power roles to potentially kill in the night but what we don't want to do is make it look like that's what we're doing. Also, if discussion turns to game setup or even when we talk about players' alignments we must remember that we need to put on a front that we don't know anything, because town doesn't know anything, because we are town, remember?
I don't want to dump too much on you so that will be all for now. Depending on how day 1 goes we can talk about strategy for day 2 during night 1. Play like you got a vanilla town PM from our mod (see this post for that role sample just in case).
Let's have some fun and hope to talk to you soon.-

Hey Atomic! Welcome to the scum team!
This thread might be locked by the time you arrive so I wanted to say hi b4 hand.
What do you think about both hard claiming mafia goon? I think it just might be crazy enough to work. Especially if people try and read my past games and meta read me.
Anyway, have fun and I'll see you in day 1 in the game and hopefully see you back here on night 1.-

Glad I could be of assistance without even trying, lol.
Beard has a lot of content so flipping him this early might give away too much.
I actually think Oacenth is a PR and they have very little content. So when they flip maybe Shadow gets the blame. The only downside I see is people think scum was on the counter wagon, Shadow. Voters were you, algebra, oacenth. We lynched algebra and if we kill oacenth that leaves you. Now maybe is gets spun that mafia stacked on algebra's wagon and maybe then the theory of one newbie mafia and one experienced mafia starts to fade. Speaking of which, how about Dier catching that from your post (221, lol. Damn him.
Thoughts on an Oacenth night kill?
I think you doing the kill will be fine.-

I read back on some past games of shadow. Our game together he was a weak PR, bodygaurd, but he acted the same way he's acting now in this game. When he has been VT he's a little more talkative. Maybe another possibility for PR.-

Oacenth just seemed to want to play everything perfect. Could just be newb VT. Plus I was thinking it would be a low info kill. But shadow was pretty much on algebra all day.
If shadow is an investigative target we could try and push his lynch tomorrow and see if anyone changes their mind on him. That could tip us off if he have an investigative role.-

Oh yeah I noted Dier. I think he's played an absent IC and we could definitely push on him. Outside of his awesome read on you, which no one else knows is true, he's just spit a ton of theory.-

At least algebra spewed shadow and loopdan scum and then fliped town so that might work to our advantage. I think town will come out firing against each other really quickly in D2. We might not have to push anything too hard but we don't want to lurk either.-

Beard has been very transparent and if we killed him and he flips town his thoughts and reads get put into the category that he was being truthful without any malicious intent. He's suspicious of me but reads you town.
Oh also, Ithink our interactions have looked really natural and no one suspects us as a team. I don't even think anyone suspects you at all.
PEDIT: Yeah maybe 18 is nothing.-

If your tracked and they out you could claim cop. That might get the doc to insta vote you and possibly out. I was sort of thinking about a cop claim down the road, it all depends on how the game goes and if we hit any PRs. I didn't crumb any role this game.-

If cops outs a red check on me I mighty play it by outing a green check on loopdan. Thay way even if they lunch me first before the real cop loopdan might get some suspicion.
I think if a newer player is cop we're safe.-

What about SirCakez? He doesn't seem to be following very closely and has said or asked the same thing just mere posts after someone else has, especially me. He's obviously not mafia so do you think he's trying to look like he's not paying attention because he might be aPR?-

Could be...pretend you're not paying attention to draw PR attention away from you when in reality you are a PR...or the double throw off, we think this and then scum NK him and he really wasn't a PR.In post 43, atomicsoda wrote:sir cakes did forget he was playing this game at one point so I would guess not, he could be trying to thro us tho-
