so, scum lost if this was simple tic-tac-toe rules
Town (O's) can force a win by lynching Lane or Luna Fox. Also Luna Fox is strictly better of the two because it forces scum kill onto Umlaut (unknown alignment) rather than McMenno (conftown).
the only thing we have to do is make sure we don't get endgamed. If the scumteam isn't Alpaca-javajoe (or GL-alpaca or GL-javajoe, but FMPOV I know those combinations aren't possible) then scum guaranteed a loss by killing Wingback, so I'm trying to wrap my head around this kill since it either means scum threw the game or Alpaca-java is the team.

wait we could also lynch Umlaut for autowin too, but again it would hypothetically get endgamed by java-alpaca team

First of all, this makes it look like we were overwhelmingly likely to win following a McMenno NK. Meaning Alpaca is probably scum.
Second of all, if we try to take the center now, scum can kill either Lion or Lane and force us to kill the other. I don't think either of them are scum so we lose on Mafia at that point. Not a workable strategy.

That was unexpected. I thought they had to lynch center in order to not auto lose. From my POV the best option is to lynch Elmo, force them to kill umlaut, then trap them by lynching lane. Unless alpaca and GL are scum, which I highly doubt, then we will win with this strategy.

You are leaving out that unless one of Elmo, myself, or Lane is scum, the scum can NK whomever they want N3 and win by Mafia without worrying about TTT. This was already explained yesterday.
Since Lane is pretty much my top townread right now except for, oh, myself, I am not exactly on board with this plan.
At this point I kind of want to gamble it all on an Alpaca/Joe team, but I'm still looking for better ideas.

Actually, lynching Luna and then Joe could work for me. Assuming one of them is scum (and I do), Mafia is forced to kill Lane leaving McMenno around for lylo. Then we lynch the scummier of GL or Alpaca (hint: it's Alpaca).
