I think you're framing the issue wrong. By keeping Shiro and I alive long enough, town has been laser focused on scum because we could do our job. That prevented mislynches thus giving a higher body count. Given 4 kpn, we needed our results and the abilities that We had.
It's not so much the doctor stops the kill but it prevents obvious town from dying, forcing scum into suboptimal plays. That let us have an abnormally high guilty rate.

As a discussion point: was the need to get rid of me simply because I would always be on one of CB/Boem? Did any scum buy my expressed doubts about either of those slots?
If there weren't obvious roles that had to be killed, would a doctor claim otherwise merit an instant death sentence? It seems to me that doctor is maybe overvalued (outside of situations where combinations of roles make a doctor a lynchpin), so I'm wondering why others view it as more valuable than I do.

Boring is amazingly spry on her feet as scum. Until the moment she has to commit, she'll play super neutral, and then once she has to convince people that she isn't scum, the show begins. It's really quite impressive.

Do people have thoughts on balance given flips and game development so far? IMO it's pretty fair w town structurally favored but other factions having realistic chances. You guys agree or think it needed tweaking? It's my first time reviewing this kind if large setup so is be happy to get feedback.

The way it's played out so far it seems townsided. If town was a little less favored, maybe they'd actually have to do some scumhunting (who'd have thought?)
Yeah I think so too but I often think setups are too town sided. I'm very happy we didn't put out 32/5/5 though, I think that would have just been way too easy for town. Sk balances things a bit, but vig swinginess was interesting too.
I will admit I'm rooting for sk, especially since just ascetic and not investigative immune outright.
