If you'd sent me that in a non-competitive game, I'd have asked you to abridge it. When the ruleset said, "don't be too legalistic about what you're summarizing," this is what I was getting at.

But yeah, this is just kind of a weird game to use as a competition.

I don't think that would have worked at all. Telephone Pictionary isn't funny because it's

trying

to be funny, it's funny because of all the fumbles that in hindsight totally make perfect sense. Telling people to intentionally spice it up would just dilute that.

Yeah, that makes sense as well. We just wanted a chance to showcase the game since it's such a fun one, but I'm not sure there's a great way to do it in a competitive setting.

If the game wasn't competitive, I wouldn't bother with writing something that specific.

When I played the game, after all, we had like one minute to interpret the drawings. I can't write a lengthy sentence that fast in the first place.

I mean, if we're playing for no purpose, I'd take artistic liberties for the sake of taking artistic liberties. I wouldn't deliberately screw the drawing up, but I'd be a lot looser with my interpretation specifically because that's the fun in the game: trying to pass the thing on, but with your own touch added to it, your own style.

But, I mean. With it being COMPETITIVE. Darn right I'm fond of loophole abuse.

I was very sure that writing ANY number or symbol was cheating, for some reason

Sad the "orange" part of the cat didn't make it thru to me.

I did my best to signify "boy" by having a "man" in the background, and an arrow pointing slightly differently in the bottom section, signifying he was short.

I lol'd at the Glrok interpretation specifically because I had that thought myself immediately upon hearing the phrase "green shirt" on this site. Well thunk, Xalxe.
