General Rules :

Voting and Lynching rules:

1) Day phases will last 8 days.

2) Night phases last exactly 2 days (48 hours)
3) Use either bold tags or vote tags to vote someone. It is preferable if you vote at the start of a line.

8) If a majority was not met by deadline, a No Lynch will happen.
9) When a lynch has been achieved, it is final, and any further votes or unvotes will not count. Everyone (including the lynched person) may continue to post until I post the lynch scene.
10) When you are dead, do not post, game related or not. This means no ‘bah' posts.
11) If the Mod has made an error in the vote count, please post the error in thread.

Activity and Replacements:

1) 48 hours without a post will incur a prod.
2) If you do not respond to the prod by posting in the main thread within 24 hours, you will be replaced.
3) Three prods and I will also replace you.
4) If a replacement happens near deadline, I may grant an extension. I reserve the right not to give this extension if I feel it's being abused.
5) If a replacement happens at Night, I will freeze the deadline until a replacement is found.

Setup Information:

1) This is a 13 player Normal closed setup. It follows the Normal game guidelines.
2) It is also guaranteed that at least one player is a Vanilla Townie, who will receive the role PM as shown below.
3) Natural Action Resolution is in effect.
4) Please submit Night actions on time. Overdue Night actions will not count, even if I haven't resolved them yet.
5) If you believe the Mod has made an error in resolving effects, please PM me.
6) A mafia member can only carry out his faction kill, or his individual ability, but not both.
7) Mafia do not have the ability to privately communicate during the day, except via the means of a power role.

If you guys have any suggestions regarding the modding, or the balance or the setup or just regarding the game, then I am happy to hear them as this was the first game I have ever modded. And it was a fun experience for me.

@shadow: vanilla cop was only useless because you were awesome with your nighttargets. If we had killed thor as I suggested night 1, we would have needed your investigations to find those investigative roles ASAP.

@chilledtea: any chance of the review/mod topic? I'm quite interested to see that discussion as well.

The review topic will be made public by N I think. We will have to wait for it. As for the mod topic, I used the review topic itself as the mod topic since I didn't want to have a backup and it was my first game.

I think saving a scum member from kill is less noteworthy than targeting a scum member for a kill.

I also feel that night actions were good on both the sides, night isn't the only that should matter.

I still think the game was balanced. I have always held the belief that the night actions should help the town a little more than scum, and ultimately the day game should be the final factor in victory or defeat of any alignment.

If the doctor did die early then that's that. The town gets points for catching the doctor early. After all if the town gunsmith/cop/doctor whatever had died earlier at the hands of the scum the scum always gets the benefit of finding the PR. Town found scum early, and scum didn't handle their PRs properly.

As I said before in the review thread, there needs to be a range of acceptance of balance where something is not easily predictable just because it is considered as balanced. That predictability almost gets rid of the advantage of closed setups.

I was saying, that in the hypothetical situation that the Mafia Doctor died early, the fault lies with the Mafia team for not playing as a team as well as town, and NOT with the Mod for including a Mafia Doctor in the setup or with the balance.

The town did not play that well on day 4 and 5. Lynching Karnos and realizing that it is a mislynch, and then taking elyse's lynch lightly. That cost the game. IMO town played way better than scum on the first 3 days, the last two days town lost the game. Inactivity is a common problem amongst town and it helps scum a lot more than we give it credit for.

Not much analysis was done by town on day 5 before lynching elyse. Not much spoilers were given in the dead thread, and the dead have displayed a good dose of analysis in the dead thread. Ultimately to win you as town you need to analyse as well. Elyse's inactivity really hurt town though, and ultimately that means that scum played a better team game.

In fact, town wasn't anywhere close to being as active as necessary during MYLO to win this game.
