Busy Night

The New Orleans skyline always gives a vibe of intrigue and mystery. Last night was no different. Some of the group were selected to do some runs to try and take down Aztechnology. Others were left to their own devices. Quite a few elected to go down the historic Bourbon Street after the adventures. Since Aztechnology tried to come into the area quite a bit of the charm was lost, but there was still plenty of drinking fun and debauchery. People were going to celebrate the union formed to take down Aztechnology.

During the celebration, not all was as it seemed. Grovyle (Firebringer and Hebichan) stepped away from the group to try and get more drinks for everyone. The group was all very intoxicated and distracted. It was several hours before the group noticed Grovyle was nowhere to be found. They found the old bartender. "Yes, they said they were not feeling well and wanted to go home." The group looks outside and finds Grovyle's mangled body on the ground. It looks like a car deliberately ran over them. The police already had possession of the body. They discarded the book "A Summoner's Guide to Self Defense in a Brutal World". There was a calling card near the body. "Criminals will obey. This is Aztechnology land."

The group gathers during the day, figuring there would be a lot to talk about. Drixx still seemed to be passed out though. He just wouldn't wake up. The group lifts his eyes open and realize that his body is reacting as if he's jacked into the Matrix. There was also a mysterious Tatoo on his body next to the blue winged bird that was his calling card. It was the symbol for Aztechnology, along with a glyph that is typical of the Mayan language. Having been runners here for quite awhile, you know the tattoo is a murderous signature of someone involved with Aztechnology or Lonestar. There was nothing that could be done for him. Someone murdered him in the Matrix.

What's left of the group gathers at the same abandoned warehouse they met at before. Karnos receives a lot of dirty looks. Mr. Johnson arrives and pulls the technomancer (inspectorscout) aside. "You are now the party leader. You have a new run option available. It is called Conducting a Seance. Otherwise, your options are the same as JaeReed's. There is still one mission that we need more time to recover data for.

There also has been an accusation placed against WorldzMine. If this player is lynched, a player on the wagon will receive a reward. This reward is unknown at this time. If Worldzmine is not lynched, the reward is forfeit."

Inspectorscout relays this information to the group.

I'm starting to have the feeling that he won't unfortunately. But I just hope we get an actual flip either way, it will help me to start solving this game a bit more. It just seemed like we were in a long funk that I just wanted to end either way.

I think KlingonCelt is scum too but I can't wrap my head around why Klingon as scum would announce receiving a message not intended for them. I can't see why town Klingon would do it either.

The biggest thing that puzzles me is no last reads from random ergo likely scum.
Karnos is going to die tonight barring any scum fuckery.
With 17 players I see at most 4 scum in single ball.

This means that if random is scum then how did that hammer form so fast? And if random was scum why would they hammer their buddy?

None of this game makes sense.

Random reached a hammer so quicky because
- he was a lurker who didn't give anything to the game, not even in the matrix pt. It's 2 pages and is just completely dead. Now that random is gone, we are even alone in it.

- the other wagons were PV and worldz. For some reason people listened to abr and didn't want to vote worldz, others refused to vote PV. If voting is really split up any other low content player that might be scum is a liked lynch.

Karnos quickhammering could be to prevent slips and information about other scum members.


@D&D I still believe PV is town, but it would have been damn useful if he hadn't lurked out this day end.

I wasn't exactly a quick-hammer, it was more than 24 hours after the L-1 and randommidget hadn't so much as made a peep. Asking for a claim doesn't do anything when the person you are trying to ask isn't posting at all. It's also well past original deadline for the day, it was only extended to give time for replacements, so you can't say we didn't have enough time to discuss- we had a lot more time than we should have had.

Anyway I'm just tired of defending myself. I'm ready to move on, just shoot me so some good can come of my flip.
