It's all about how well they can control who gets lynched (specifically, not them), and how often the person they want lynched is strategically good for their alignment (a fancy way of saying "they hit scum as Town, and they hit power roles as scum).
Those are the primary skills for this game. However they are accomplished is up to the individual.
What defines a bad/average/good/great player?

Nah, I think you're talking about a different kind of control. Or perhapsinfluenceis the better word for it. You were able to influence the game to a substantial degree, and the way you did so was beneficial to your Win Condition.Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.-

(being able to deny someone's obvTown-ness is a pretty cool skill as scum)Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.-

This post is pretty trueIn post 38, Kmd4390 wrote:It comes down to three things:
1) Amount of free time and effort
2) Level of confidence
3) Mental health state
I wish there was more to it but I don't really think there is. You really do just have to post the correct amount, be confident but not the the point of thinking you are God, and not be an emotional wreck. Do those three things perfectly and you'll be successful.Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.-
