Alrighty so My first MC. Kinda interesting. I feel safe and that we have bigger fish to fry than myself.
I feel like I'm on an episode of Unsolved Mysteries here. Toadette was in this game, a few people talk about how she's honest and nice, but maybe a bit too honest and nice? It's gotta be fabricated maybe? She had a few people who considered her an ally. Her secret group likes her. She swaps to a new tribe with someone she likes and who at least talks about her. TC hits, everyone is talking about voting out two other people. Toadette and her ally Birdo are easily in this nice floaty between space where they can do whatever they want. Results happen and, what the hell? Toadette is gone. No one saw it coming, no one claims they made it happen or why. There's a rumor that it was Koopa's fault, but not how he did it or even if that's right. And then it's like it never mattered. There were vote edits and it seems like a last minute shift, but no one talks about why Toadette is gone. She's just gone and it's like she was never there.

I hate to continue the D3f3nd3r slaughter here, but Auru's tale was not an interesting one. He was in a middling-to-low position on his first tribe, then got swapped to a new tribe with two "easy boots" in Link and Barinade. But then it turns out everyone likes B)arinade more than they like Auru. Whoops!

Rum Raisin is a story we have heard many times here on Mafiascum. He showed up, but he just wasn't communicating with his tribe on at all the level that he thought he was. He wasn't very aware of the game, and even being singled out as a Rotten Banana did not seem to help him realize that he was doing something wrong until after he was eliminated. Mint Chocolate Chip tried to make the artificial connection work but there just wasn't much of anything there for him to do anything with, the guy was barely active and only survived a few rounds due to lack of TCs.
Also, I don't know exactly why, but I found him really particularly excruciating to watch.

Raisin Rum (fuck you Jeopardy!) was the other vote in the only pre-merge tie I've seen since... I don't think there's been one in the games since I started. If he'd used his Rotten Banana double-vote he would have survived! The fact that three members of the jury and the winner nearly went to ROCKS over this person and Birthday Cake.. well any of those rocks would have made the game a much different place that's for sure.

Toby didn't PM very frequently, and like many first-time players, he probably underestimated the social aspect of the game. He also made a mildly rude comment to Coldplay in a public thread that got him off on a bad start. By the second or third round, the stress of the game was getting to him and he wanted to quit. This didn't last; however, by the time we actually attended TC, his spirits had lifted and he wanted to stay. Alas, his tribe threw a challenge to vote him off, because some were afraid he would flip after a swap.
(Granted, we probably would have lost that challenge anyway.)

Claire seems to have been living in her own little world. If you read just her confessional, she was doing a great job until swap and got voted out in an exciting TC. But if you look at it from anyone else's perspective, Claire is essentially invisible. As a player that was never on Claire's tribe, I heard somewhat interesting things, but I also heard that she was likely to be eliminated early on. Before making this write-up, I didn't actually realize how amusing Claire's story was! I have a new appreciation for her. She tried her best, and it made for a fun little arc, but she had relatively little impact on the game as a whole, and that's why I see now as a good time for her to go.
