They are sometimes so subtle you don't feel the jab and you're off running with it before you realize, it's okay.

Transcend's bullying and manipulation was extremely scummy and it got a town PR killed. He should be killed for multiple reasons related to that. I find it disconcerting he's been allowed to live. He could be a BP scum because of all the 1-shot townies, feeling a bit invulnerable, and bullheading the game. He could be arrogant town who thinks he knows better than most and wants to bullhead the game, and has to a point, again, to get a PR killed. He needs to be dead.

I agree to an extent, but then when I look at broader, he seems to be flailing quite a bit, and flailing scum when it's 7v3 doesn't make sense, especially since the 1 scum killed netted a crap wagon. Phewww, really? I've look at it I don't know how many times and gerry seems the genuine one in relation to transcend and dunn's seems staged. Gerry is just being what I'm going to call "being gerry" in relation to transcend, and dunn seems deliberate and subversive. They had plenty of time to stage an act with DC and transcend being not in the game almost from the get-go. Who knows how early the "let's plan a bus to victory" talk happened. It's just how I'm reading it. I keep trying to go at it afresh and that is what I get and nothing/no one convinces me otherwise yet, as open as I feel to it.

I think youre putting too much into tone which is IMO entirely the player and most ppl dont have blatant tone changes between alignments

I had been reading him as scum for a bit, but it was actually the genuineness I got between him and transcend (I just don't see how they'd be buddies with their interactions) that made me re-evaluate, AND that he was pushing me leans towards towny-ness not scummy-ness for me, I'm a dead-end and scum should know it and be going for low-hanging fruit or ... anything but going for me at the points he was as far as I see it.

I don't really know what you mean by pointing out the blatant tone change thing. That is obvious and I only go case-by-case, game-by-game, AND I have no previous games with gerry, if anything a blind-tone read would have him as scum for me I think, but that is tempered by the rest of what is here and is why I'm more doubtful about his scum-ness.

Again, a dunnstral flip would clear a lot of things up, and is why I have a LAL PL so hard, because at this point in the game, I don't know who to trust, and if all townies were 100% straight from the get-go, we wouldn't be here now.

A bullied hammer would never go over, the bully (transcend) would have been immediately PLed on D2, and even more possible with the DC we'd have probably just PLed yoshi immediately come D3, and we'd simply be somewhere completely different now and things would be a lot clearer. I had a hard time navigating for a bit, but I'm back with it, and I STILL feel like dunn is a good lynch, and the PL stuff is simply SUPPORT to the rest of the reasons.

I don't feel like anyone has made a good case for anyone else, but I'm open.

I can but I won't. Coming to MS I made it policy to not meta-mine anyone in games prior to my joining and reversely I desire to not be meta-mined in games prior to my joining. I don't know how long I'll try to keep my HS a "secret", but until I establish myself a bit more here I'm going to keep it on the DL. Honestly I went into a super-experienced group of players head-first into the deep end and am not proud of a lot of my play as I learned to play (I've only been playing a bit over a year - though I did have some good early games, I'm a bit ashamed of my behavior in a couple others, ya know, mafia drama shit that is stupid, it was some growing pains, and the last thing I want is someone to view that crap - ya know, FTSIQ moments and petty bickering that I'd rather forget.)

So as much as I'd like to inform everyone I play with on MS of my prior experience (and who doesn't like to show off a couple games where they're proud of their performance?), I'm tempering it with the realization that building a mafia reputation is meaningful and I am here to start afresh.

Do know that I still play on my HS (I just finished hosting my first game - a 17p large theme game) so it's not like I've been blacklisted or whatever. It's not like that.

I can answer more questions about culture and experience if you like, but I won't be sharing links or naming the site.

Never had an ACTUAL FTSIQ moment, but, it's been close. We run some crazy games and it can be infuriating (ya know, games without deadlines and 0 flavor, no flips, undisclosed bastardry) - I don't know if there's anyone on the site that hasn't had some GRRAAHHHHHH (nod) moments.

We're having trouble filling a smurf-themed 12player stack-the-deck because people are busy (so a few might drop out and it will become a 9matrix)

The game has been a shitshow since near the beginning because: transcend.

As said, I can't navigate for shit with having to factor in potential town-lies, I just can't view the game that way. So I stick with what I know (and believe is the right way to play), and I just can't get off Dunns. I stated this at the start of the Day, and hoped to be a wallflower to see how everyone here navigated at this point. And it has just stagnated.
