I mean, to be fair, there isn't any reason why any of the past themes done can't be reused. There's not like some rule of "Oh sorry, some game used that. You can't ever use that theme again." Nor do any themes belong to any particular mods. Go nuts.

Yeah I think that'd be good. Could almost see a Smash Bros theme at some point to invite characters from all the different assorted universes?

I dunno this is more of a grumpy complaint that aside from LoL there hasn't been a theme I've been interested in since probably 1.5 years ago

Mm no you don't. You weren't even the first to do Pokemon. K-Scope was. You just made it into a series. Which is great. But the theme doesn't belong to anyone. If someone else wants to run something in pokemon, they can run pokemon. TBO already has. CC already has.

I'm fine with reusing themes or even other.people making Pokemon games but there's got to be some factor differentiating them.

I don't actually see why? There hasn't been with the times Mario has been reused, and has it been REUSED. Whether as part of themes under a Survivor, or the entire theme of one, or the theme of an Endurance, or Mole. Having different mods is enough to differentiate one would think. The first K-Scope Pokemon also used Pokemon as player characters. But you know what has only been done once in a Pokemon theme? The Trainers themselves. If you really feel the entire burning need to make it drastically different, there's the thing that has only been done once with TBO's Arena.

I don't mean "do a different aspect of Pokemon". I mean "make it different from all the other games that have run." Thats why nobody was up in arms when Arena, Colosseum, and PokeOcalypse ran. Even within a Survivor we can make it different through twists or mechanics or anything else.

(LLD I think people are just discouraged by the fact that the last few Mole games were modflaked. We do need one though.)

I don't think SSBM would really work if you go for competitive play. The mod would be forced to play Fox, but then that doesn't leave a single character for anyone else to play.

Okay Marth, Sheik, Falco, Falcon, Jiggs, Peach, Pikachu, Luigi, Samus, and possibly Gannondorf would also be possible, but I literally can't think of anyone else I've seen played. Though I guess someone could be Randall also...
