PM fire is wrt what happens to the phone abilities when you block someone

I'm not sure I understand the question. We block someone's phone abilities (which includes items), they fail if they used any that phase. Just like role abilities.

firebringer i dont really see what we could have done. i dont think the setup was necessarily terrible (it was swingy, but that tends to happen. it probably could have swung in scums favor as well) but saying apathy killed us is really unfair.

i purposefully became absent as day 2 went on so as to stop dropping associatives. also yeah there was 0 reason for us to entertain the idea of a traitor considering 10v3 is standard.

day 1 of the scumthread is just us sorting through PR reads/claims. guiltylion claimed PR to house in a message d1 which is why we shot that slot. our immediate assumption was you were a BP or that house was blocked (though that woulda been outted so we dismissed that). aqua later brought up you coulda been jailed. a message i got from mathblade implied the existence of another PR whose identity she didnt say so we assumed that was you.

when aqua got your traitor message, they immediately dismissed it as fake.

you.. probably should have messaged me as i was going down, in all honesty. since i essentially scumclaimed near the end of day 2 when i was just spouting song lyrics instead of responding to anyone or putting in any effort.

it happens. good game and all. i always enjoy games with curious mechanics and this wasnt an exception. i did find out though that hydra-ing as scum is REALLY unfun. so i probably won't ever hydra again or do it very rarely going forward.

i've never actually been traitor in forum mafia but my thoughts have always been that unless you're in contact with your team early on, the best bet is to go aggressive and counterclaim a PR or something. though i guess there is the danger of accidentally murdering your partner and then getting nightkilled... maybe your way of playing it was better :p

...and yet it makes me want to ask you to hydra. say no, obviously. it would be a bad idea.

there's a whole list of people i should maybe consider hydra-ing with some day but i think after this game if im gonna hydra with anyone it'd have to be someone i think i would work well with ie someone who thinks on the same wavelength as me.

like anything else, it varies from mod to mod. in Normal play, they do always know the mafia team.

a question best asked towards a veteran of the Normal Review Group, or maybe the Normal List Mod. or N. N would know.

i've played one normal game on here with a traitor in it, was a large though and i presume you'd see them more there since there's just more going on. in minis, you need to get the standard 10v3 setup which leaves less room for considering a traitor.

i also played a game on my home side with a weird modified traitor that was a night 1 vig that then joined the scumteam night 2. wild stuff.
