VOTE: Gamma Emerald

I hate site meta. Site meta causes people to lose. People with brains win.

Take Nadhia head for example: She is trying to be Johnnie be Wright and cement scum reads early. However I prefer to cement town reads early and then look at what comes after. Scum usually make a mistake in RVS which becomes clear after shenanigans have started.

Calling it Gamma/Lane/Creature

*mic drop*

Lane Pointing out a TvS fight is not scummy. Look at recently completed 1825 I replaced into. Mentioned 1v1s I had and caught House. Only reason I got fucked up was Titus got in the game.

Running out the door.

Lane helps out buddy after I drop serious vote. Gamma tells the truth about 1 scum being already on the wagon. Creature buddies infinity.

I don't like the question exchange by Gamma. Seems like blatant attempt to fake a townslip while not being accused of rolefishing.

I also don't like how people piled on creature then piled off just as fast. That vote split looks very off.

Creature's reads look like crap. Especially the StarGazers read. Not seeing how that came about.

No. Because I have faked town slips as scum and asking if there are PRs is NAI.

1) Could be VT.
2) Could be power role derping to try to take heat off.
3) Blatant scum wanting to role fish.

You didn't "point" it out to me. As I said I was reading at lunch. Just not enough time to post.

It is the Gamma Infinity exchange IMHO that is telling.

I suggest a three person team and then all that shit happens.

I think there is a coincidence.

Is it just because you don't like is reasoning or is there something else there
That's a thought.

@Mathblade: Did Dunnstral strike you as a VI in this game?
Not at the end. I was clouded by the fact infinity and dunn did a shitty reaction test though.

At the start I was a replace in so I don't know.

I think that Creature is scum. As town they would care if someone called their reads crap and ask why and try to sort me.

Still don't like Gamma.

Ridiculous preflip reminds me of Gistou, overconfidence is null

Town: lane, Gamma Emerald, Dunnstral
Slight town: House, SlySly, Grapevine
Null: Tatsuya Kaname, GuiltyLion, Stargazers
Slight scum: Mathblade
Scum: Creature, Infinity 324 (but I don't really think they are both scum together, so one of these is probably wrong)

SlySly read is tentative and could change after he posts more. I disagree with just about everything he said but it sounds a bit town.
This. IIRC, Creature and Infinity were the leading wagons at that time.
Reads are shit captured in OMGUS.

I think scum have been pushing infinity since the top of the day since I won't be mislynched.

Do you find it scummy or do you not like the ideas I presented?
Panther is at L-2 which is a fact (I have no problem with this)
The fact you say "we" are creating 2 wagons so you don't have to speed wagon is bullshit.
A) "we" is undefined. I think this is a scumclaim here.
B) Don't have to speed wagon is shit. I think PantherPunt was done of pure lynch shopping and I don't like how it gathered up that quickly.
In less than 100 posts PantherPunt went from L-5 to L-2. Preventing a speedwagon my ass. This looks like an attempt to speedwagon to avoid pressuring gamma.

This post is also terribad.

Because moving from an L-whatever to making another 3 person wagon seems sketchy as fuck.
Then a couple other people are hopping on as well with NAKED votes.

At this point votes should not be naked.

There is no reason to policy lynch right now. None. And that's the BEST thing towards a case on PantherPunt I can find.

This is a counter wagon to Gamma pure and simple.

SlySly has sank down in my reads during my reading of the last few pages.

This is also bad..wow so much bad. You vote SlySly then you vote PantherPunt in order to progress the game even though the person who is your top scum read (I'm assuming that because you voted SlySly again the whole "common sense" thing). This looks like a deliberate attempt to call out SlySly yet not vote for him an attempt to distance.

Last VS is this

Lane0168 (L-6): GuiltyLion,
House (L-6): Pantherpunt,
PantherPunt (L-2): Infinity324, Expedience, SlySly, Dunnstral, Creature,
Mathblade (L-6): Gamma Emerald,
Expedience (L-6): Stargazers
Gamma Emerald (L-4): House, Grapevine, lane0168,

Not Voting (1): Mathblade,

Therefore Gamma is a viable wagon and should be lynched. Instead of what is being offered. Granted the SlySly drop a vote and scoot is weaker than the gamma read but this feels horrible. Gamma needs rope.

No. I don't have any buddies.

2) You are actually detracting from a lynch when you move from an L-2 lynch to L-4.

I would prefer you to be town too but that at this point is a pie in the sky dream.

In post 1942, SlySly wrote:The claim is...
My night action was blocked and that's why there was no NK.

That means 1 of the 2 of the following are true:
1. SlySly is scum that issued the NK for scum and Stargazers blocked it
2. Stargazers, who has a guilty against them, is scum

Vote accordingly.
Neither of these have to be true.

There are a lot of possibilities where both could be town.
Like Stargazers is town and roleblocked Sly and scum kill is doctored/BP/whatever and Creature is redirected.
Mafia/Town Lightning Rod
Stargazers town and roleblocked the killer who does not necessarily have to be sly. Creature is lying and is a low power role.

I think the main thing is that people are mechanics over scumhunting.

Generally lightning rods are limited shot so the game can be played. My point is scum would have ways of fucking with PRs. In Shadowrun Mafia I explicitly created situations that conf!scummed a townie to get rid of a mason crumb.

The biggest thing is even if Stargazers blocked Sly it is not condemning of Sly. It means that if Stargazers is town then Creature's result is messed with or Creature is scum. There is not conclusive evidence of who did the kill.

That is the crux of it.

IMHO if anyone is scum I would pick Creature over Stargazers. The last will mechanic would let Creature out his guilty. Instead he could have tunneled Nahdia and then saw who didn't want to vote her and see if his guilty was untampered with. However if it was the reads are lost because people are giving scum an out. (The paragraph assumes Nahdia town)

I think gut reaction based on how things went both are town or Creature is scum and Sly would be likely but not confirmed scum.

However I want to read and confirm. I also have a hard time believing Stargazers would crumb as scum.

Not sure other player's experience with Blitz here. I've got a lot of experience in Blitz games from my home site though I will say this game has slightly longer day phases than the ones I'm used to from there. Still though I think this advice applies; really
focus on forming scumreads and cementing wagons sooner rather than later
. Last minute panic for lynches is how gruesome mistakes are made. I remember one game I played (I was mafia thankfully) where town lynched the cop day 1 and the doctor day 2 because it got to the last minute and people were panicking and the PR's hadn't claimed previously since they weren't in any significant danger leading up to that point.

Good morning Vietnam is about a broadcaster who reports in the worst of situations and about censorship at its core. This implies a bit of censorship. Roleblocker is a type of censorship.

I am investigating if it is a true guilty having set up so many fakes myself. I am not finding reasons to townread. I want all my questions answered.

Why would they fake claim roleblocker post one? If I was roleblocker I would have tunneled Stargazers to kingdom come. It is incredibly stupid play.

Ok fine

But it still makes no sense that you'd townread the guilty based on that

Explain a situation which would lead scum!creature to fakeclaim a guilty on stargazers
Doesn't have to be a fake claim.
Could be Creature was redirected.

However if it is a fake claim it would be due to making an intelligent sacrifice.
Scum would have had to know that Nahdia was a roleblocker or had excellent reads and then a 1 to 1 trade is worth a planned bus. Planned busses for towncred are a thing.

It also doesn't excuse Creature's play in the slightest. I don't see why a town Creature would claim here. If Creature is a cop then he could keep sending off guesses and put them all in his last will. Outing himself for one guilty doesn't make sense as a town play.

Why did you think my quote of Infinity's post about Infinity's vote of me was about anything else? You said Infinity's vote on me was bad. I proved that was out of context.

The question is how does phone block work. If you block the phone actions is it for night only? For night and following day? If it's not multiphase do you alternativey have the option to use it as a day action to block day phone stuff.

The answer is it doesn't matter what your answer is. There's a claimed guilty on you and you're being lynched. I'm sincerely sorry if you got boned by shenanigans but c'est la vie. You're allowed to be angry about it regardless of your alignment really but I'm not letting this lynch go any other way. We are just talking in the meantime. If you're town, talk a lot and push where you see fit. If you're Mafia you probably want to shut the fuck up period but I hope you talk a lot in holding out hope you wiggle out of this noose
I want to hear what mathblade has to say but yeah

Stargazers looks likely to be scum but it is not confirmed only someone mentioned a guilty. This forces a narrowed investigation and at the same time gives places for people to hide. Bad SlySly.

Has the whole world gone crazy? Am I the only one around here who gives a shit about the actuality of this situation?

Regardless, this is mountains out of fucking molehills. I'd bet my bottom dollar that people using this as a means to scumread me are likely scum hoping to push a lynch because they don't know how the fuck I operate.

-V
No you aren't. I care significantly and it's why I've been asking questions. The most likely thing is Stargazers is scum. Their reads just don't make sense plus the claimed guilty from Creature.

I just worry, y'know, that it'll just be more of the same.

@Math: Why hasn't there been a gazer lynch yet, then?
I saw some votes amassing, then some stalling about it.
I wanted to poke Creature because Creature was very much scum read and their play didn't make sense from a cop perspective in a last will game and I want House's replacement to be found. We have the time for the replacement whoever they are to catch up and use it. Speed lynching now means that there is a possibility we go into night without a replacement for the House slot and I believe the House slot is town. So it's protown to wait on the replacement.

It's also why I asked the Stargazers slot about their reads. They didn't try to expand after I asked multiple times and they were in discord with what I sent. If anything and they believed they were being lynched like they thought they should be they'd be fighting more. Trying to get their reads out. Instead it seems almost "blah"

In short I like neither slot but both being scum would be insanity.

I think creature is the most likely to be town

Maybe lane could but

It doesn't matter since gazers will probably lie about it
Universal means all players townread.
I do not townread Creature. I think it is most likely but until I see a flip confirming his guilty he can still be a scumbag who lied. Would rather House slot or Lane slot or myself do this if we do.
