Um, in some instances, town will play mind games with scum by making claims that are false. Town should not cAre, because it has no effect on them, but it does affect scum.

Naming yourself BP then saying you are not makes the scum try to guess if you are lying get first time or second time.
Town doesn't generally have a NK, so a scum read on the person should be more based on play.
