What if a rule is deemed advantageous to scum? Wouldn't you want the ability to approach the chairman and ask that the rule be changed? What would make you believe lynching the chairman wouldn't result in having another appointed. What if the chairman now is town and if we lynch him a scum one is appointed? I don't think you've thought this through deeply enough.

I can tell you the following:

1) The Chairman is eother a) a player's role or b) a mod alt player; they exist in some form in this game
2) The Chairman is (to my knowledge) not replaced. I'm 95% sure here, but I inferred this.

I think you may all be overthinking this a bit. I'm of the impression that the Chairman votes are simply the way the mod has the punishments for breaking the rules listed. Like the rule (now figured out and nullified) about not signing your posts. You get a post restriction of character limit for breaking that. If you break the character limit, you get a chairman vote against you. Note Mas Y Menos' vote numbers. I think this is simpler than imagined, but I could be wrong.

I knew exactly what the Chairman's votes were when I mentioned who the Chairman was casting votes on. (I didn't actually ISO Chairman, but I just figured something out. I think CP is right. I cannot say what he was right about, though.)
