Not fond of voting the person who just voted me, but I'm gonna
VOTE: Human Sequencer
for knowing how old I am and being the first to verify and post. How did you know?

Haha! But it says you are 19, and I am but 17.

Hellfire, random voting in random vote stage won't get you lynched unless there is a reason for you to be lynched because of it.

What's up with that naked vote? Are you scum, or something?

I asked because the first thing Narancia does upon meeting Giorno is ask him for his age, and he then says the he is better than Giorno for being two years older.

Josh, again, why the naked vote?

You're allowed to talk about other games, as long as they are finished. This is often used to give evidence for a player's meta, or how that player tends to play.

Shit. I meant finished as in not ongoing, like completed, not as in "you are finished with it." Here I am, forgetting terminology.

Hellfire, just don't refer to the ongoing game.

Joshz, wagons are the key way to get information this early in the game. You seem like the best person to have my vote on, what with your naked vote for "inactivity" on loopdan, despite him having posted not too long before you. If you had explained it as a random vote, I wouldn't have cared as much. It's not that there is scum motivation, exactly, but more that scum would feel more pressure or paranoia and lie as a reaction.

@HowardRoark re: OMGUS disclaimer
I felt it was bad form for a newbie game to start with an "OMG U Suck" vote, considering they are looked down upon.

Josh, lying as town tends to be detrimental, especially when you're trying not to be mislynched. Town shouldn't have a reason to lie, not counting withholding roles.

School has suddenly become intense. Sorry for the inactivity and lurking. I can find the time to read, but my analysis is not yet complete, and I really don't want to go back to my habits of spouting garbage at all times. I swear I'll post my full reads tomorrow, but, briefly put, DayRai is suspect, as is loopdan.
DayRai might have tried to misrepresent Sobolev by quoting her as saying that she was overly defensive as
scum
, not town. The post-by-post analysis was focused only on Josh, too, giving either summarization or sensationalized attacks. The first could easily have been an accident, but the second looks much worse, especially considering the analysis was only on Josh. It looks more like trying to build a lynch case against Josh than trying to find scum, as the PBPA begins biased against Josh.
Loopdan is slightly less suspicious. What stands out to me is mostly the total lack of... emotion? I'm not sure if that's the word, as he isn't apathetic, just cold. That probably isn't alignment indicative, but it's totally foreign and my gut is freaking out about it. He also points out slips somewhat often? Truly, this one is a gut read.
At first, Josh's anger seemed scummy, or NAI at best, but now his activity and recent responses genuinely justify his emotion.

Loopdan, looking back, I guess I just read your early terseness as being emotionally detached. However, I don't feel it reading your most recent posts.

Now, a table of reads, starting with DayahaangRai, along with my other scum reads. I understand that I'm missing most of their posts, but these are the ones that stood out most.

DayahaangRai

FeelsPostResponse
SThis is the slot’s first content post, and it really pings me hard. It starts biased against Joshz, and it continues from there. He doesn’t say whether this is an analysis that was revised multiple times to get his point across, but it looks like confirmation bias to me. Dayahaang started with believing Joshz was scum, and proceeded to gather anything scummy against him. Also, buzzwords. They’re NAI, but are used pretty often to avoid giving long, well thought out reasons. Hypocrisy! OMGUS!

Also, this put Joshz at L-1. Woah. Also also, tunneling.
SFirst paragraph is straight misrepresenting Sobolev. She was being very defensive, yes, but what she had said was that she was always being scum-read for being defensive.

The second paragraph is either misrepresenting Human Sequencer or reading too much into it? He says to Sequencer, “Very keen getting someone lynched?” To him, I ask the same. Also might know something about who to push for claims? My last sentence is definitely a stretch, but you never know.
SThis is one rollercoaster of reads coming from DayRai. Votes and scum reads on everyone! The Joshz read disappears suddenly, and my strongest town read is now scum.

More to come, tables are hard.

Sobolev Space
FeelsPostsResponse
NAIThis is the post that many are discussing at the moment. This post is not alignment-indicative overall. I could see newb-town and newb-scum both asking these questions. The “(like me ;))” can be seen as scum feeling the need to prove their towniness; however, this fits the feel of the rest of the post— that is to say, genuine questions asked by a newbie.

Of note is that Sobolev never indicated an alignment when saying she was often called scum.
NAILiving up to what she said, Sobolev is pretty defensive in this post. Her reasoning isn’t flawed, but there is no push against Loopdan other than trying to refute his reasons for voting her. The post feels genuine, but it doesn’t have the raw frustration that Joshz showed against his wagon. Whether this is Sobolev’s play-style is left to be seen, but her testimony and this evidence both give a strong case to the affirmative. She says “so if I’m town” in paragraph 2.
LSI can understand defensiveness, but this is actively looking for ways to become less scummy in this game without giving any reads or other town-helping information.
LSSobolev Space is trying to be as inoffensive as possible, it seems. Once again, this is quite possibly how personality is, but I am genuinely confused by not refuting DayRai’s attack at all. This is also combined with a total lack of defensive behaviour.

Joshz
FeelsPostsResponse
LS Naked votes don’t sit well with me, even in RVS. Also, voting someone who had already posted for being “AFK” seems made up. Lying is something that I think caught scum are more likely to do; however, I don’t have any empirical evidence. Not a scum-motivated vote, but the need for a fake, legit reason could easily be paranoia.
LTOn the one hand, the part about “building a wagon” could be seen as misrepresenting Human Sequencer. On the other hand, this looks like genuine emotion coming from Joshz. It is an OMGUS vote, but those aren’t alignment-indicative in general, and here it really complements the frustration/anger with Human Sequencer.
NAICompletely and utterly NAI, but I love this after Joshz’s earlier emotion. It is a valid point, however.
NAI Just a little something to go with the above post. It isn’t Sobolev TV, it’s the Josh show.
??Showing secret information, or total obliviousness of the Matrix6 setup.

That's all that I have for right now. Sequencer is town, loopdan is still iffy but probably town, Hellfire is annoying, I'm still reading Howard's and Psyche's posts- somehow I skipped them.

VOTE: Sobolev Space
Your posts seem to try to be as inoffensive as possible.
I dislike policy lynches based on activity. If it is the only consensus at the end of the day, then I will vote for Psyche, but I would rather not at the moment.

I remembered that there were questions for me.

@294
Howard, Joshz has now made two references to PRs that no VT would know to exist in our current game.

@381
I'd say that intentional inoffensiveness is the worst. It is playing selfishly, even more so than being defensive. Lying as town is still the worst, however.

Loopdan, I don't know how I would change your reads, or anyone else's. On Locust, I didn't really think of anything to ask?

Sobolev, I don't think I meant to imply that Day was expected to say whether he had revised it. I was saying that, as he hadn't, it was possible that the read on Joshz started neutral, but Day had gone back through his notes multiple times. About the hypocrisy you note about my 247, I didn't start biased? Or at least, I felt that he was scummy from his first content post. I did omit some of my notes for being too sarcastic and snarky.

Is it proper to claim before an intent to hammer?
