tbh i can support lurker lynches if everyone's gonna keep arguing over town/scumreads when like 5-6 slots are inactive

They do? I haven't seen a policy lynch in long time.

Which is why I asked Dav why he thought kts was town based on a "recent game", if his town and scum games were so radically different it would be too easy which generally isn't the case.

and i've regretted not policy lynching a couple times when some lurkerscumfuck or someone just trolling nonstop won the game as scum because no one wanted to 'policy lynch' when actually it's not policy, it's lynching a slot that's having zero pro-town impact on the game and that's as likely to be scum as town regardless of what anyone says. and if it's not, it's the only way people learn to stop being anti-town fucks

Transcend mentioned something about liking his reads or something like that if I recall correctly. How he's TR him based on that alone though I don't know.

like i get every read is weak, what ACTUAL reads do you have at this point though? relative to being 10pages in, you can have relatively strong reads. obviously no reads are going to be close to certainty but there's a threshold for scummy or towny play even at this stage of the game. i encourage you to not sit here and talk about the merits of policy lynching and actually vote with intent to kill - im assuming we have 3-5 scum slots, meaning that if you're town there's a 21-33% chance that you'll hit scum by voting naked.

if you have an inkling that someone is scum and you think there's like a 35% or higher chance they'll flip scum - they're a scumread (for this stage of the game) and you should be pressuring and trying to give them a big Murdercock™

ok?

~

p-edit: pls don't answer for other people before they do, I have the bad habit of doing this but it's important that ppl give their own reasons for things or it becomes a clusterfuck to sort slots and especially cumbersome when trying to re-read the game with new information (from NK's, flips etc.)

shadowstep twoface aeronaut all need some DEATH

i agree with kts that twoface using the misrep card was incredibly cheap.

aero's reaction to rvs was horrible.

shadow_step isn't doing anything useful and i don't think his progression through the game is genuine.

:D
This game just started, who is doing anything useful?
Not Cramming the thread up with useless bs, which just puts off people from reading it is automatically better.

I'm not really answering him for though. I didn't say how Transcend finds liking someone's reads is worthy of putting someone in your town like at this stage of the game. I understand your concern though, I just thought everyone had saw he mentioned that.

anyone who says, 'but it's 2 early 2 have reads dad!!!'

no it isn't, reads happen from page 1 - scumminess and towniness can be high during very early game, relative to how early the game is. i'm tired of people acting like u can't catch scum day 1, it's possible and happens often. make reads, cooperate with people, find town and lynch scum
