We all are figuring out the groundwork. Did you get all 3 cards you bid on (do not claim them)?

P-edit: They can use all cards that match Q or Clubs. Some cards are mandatory.

VOTE: Lil Uzi Vert - the Vifam vote looks like it's a convenient attack, not the result of thinking "is this a thing scum would do?". Claiming but saying you don't want to is trying to fit in/look good. In his last post, saying he "believes" the scum has a daykill feels a bit off... smells like scum not wanting to appear too knowledgeable about scum mechanics.

Is there a reason people are claiming how many cards they missed out on? I can't immediately see the point (though I also can't see any problem with it).

@Flythefish - We are claiming them because they box in scum while giving little help to scum. For instance, if Vifam is town, we'll have two hated spades players in the game. It also explains if some players have hidden knowledge. It becomes much more difficult to fake a claim as well as scum, forcing them to either a)make up cards they have or b) be stuck explaining bad things.

@Gerry, how many did you get?

The main utility of it is to make sure scum can't fakeclaim as easily if we require everyone to say how many cards they have. If scum picked something suspicious, they can't omit it from their claim and are instead forced to pick a card they didn't pick, and that can eventually flip (confirming that they didn't pick it) or be counterclaimed.
