your second question explains the first. it can't be a contrived read if you weren't a scumread. it was done for reactions, as she said. sure, it doesn't make it better, but i question your calling it a fixation. again, it feels as if you're ignoring the town reasons for doing it, and going for mechanical scumtells. 'this looks bad, therefore this player is scum' is entry-level play.

I somewhat townread CD, although this does shake that a bit. First off, this is just blatantly them throwing out some buzzword to try and seem relevant. I'm not even sure what they are implying I'd gain by faking that statement.

Also, KT, scum could use it to take down their partner if they ever get lynched. So, yeah. That's definitely usable by scum.

What are the town reasons that I'm missing here?

I feel like you're not understanding exactly what I was getting at or don't really care to.

Saying that people should look into me implies a scumread, am I wrong? So it's backtracking to say that hey didn't vote me because they thought I was scum and also bad to dodge the question when asked what there is to look into. Why would town want people to look into nothing? Makes no sense.
