I'm not sure if anyone is still taking it seriously, but I'm strongly against mass claim. Nothing on our side really suggests it's a good idea, while the fact that there are four scum ought not influence it; aside for putting us into lynch or lose earlier.

However, mightn't there be a virtue in our deciding who the gunsmith and cop should investigate - obviously with the caveat that one wouldn't investigate oneself. Or is that giving scum more info than we'd want to?

I think one of the core things with this setup is that the pool of people getting lynched today is pretty small - assuming scum don't counterclaim a power role, which would be stupid of them - and its fairly scum heavy. Lynching scum gives us a huge burst of knowledge (as well as motivation) so that's something which strengthens two-men teams and will weaken a four man team.

LUV's reaction to the four team thing isn't so bad that I noticed it, but I definitely can see it now it has been pointed out,

Don't like Hypo-clsiming. Scum have enough info that they cn yse it to narrow down the investigative roles. Frankly if the Cop gets a guilty then he should just come out with it and he can breadcrumb innocents for when he flips.

I'm struggling to get many reads in this game. I think Tammy's slot is town. I think LUV is scum. If i reread I could prbably get some soft reads, but I'm missing on much dramatic.

This is it. Its not as bad as I remember it, although it was only replacing my random vote, so I was not necessarily blown away by it at the time. Essentially there are so many reactions to Tammy's comments and town would make all of them - being less tactical and self-preserving - but not often this ne. This is real interaction but is devoid of underreaction or (more likely) overreaction. Essentially, its too perfect (but lacking any artefacts of thinking through the subject raher than the post*) thus seeming planned or calculated.

What part don't you understand? "Commet" is supposed to be meteorite. I must have forgotten to change it.

It also can't be read in isolation. It was demonstrating the validity of the logic used in the paragraph above. To demonstrate that is baddies are trying to sffect a position it'll probably be the Goldilocks position even though less-concerned townies will likely take one of the more extreme aproaches.

There are two types of players in this game. Scum and Town. Scum will act in these ways in these percentages. Town will act ct in the same ways in different percentages. The trick is getting a story that gives good percentages*. Reasonably rational is the group that, I conjecture, scum are more likely to act as compared to their town counterparts.

*And obviously there are also pro-scum actions and the trick of working out when they're deliberately being taken. If AJ flipped scum then that would have given a huge pool of those. He didn't.

Still strongly against hypo-Gunsmiths. it gives so much information to scum.

However, what i propose is that - if the Gunsmith got a guilty - he gives his gun to the player above the guilty on the player list. If, after a while, he does not give a gun to a player and everyone has posted, then someone announces that the Gunsmith should give the gun to his innocent.
