The basics of what dreal is saying is actually right tbh. Gin was playing like a total scumfuck regardless of his flip, then fakeclaiming on top just sucked.

Vigilantes dont play hyper aggressively in the daygame and draw lots of attention to themselves the entire time, or publically announce "I will shoot in these 6 people" because if any are scum you're just gonna get yourself NK'd. Or if none are scum then scum will let you shoot and NK someone else.

Gin coulda claimed VT and I might have tried to order everyone off that wagon but the Vig claim couldn't be left alive, not when he played like in such a counterintuitive way to being a vig.

it's really nothing to do with the shooting part. think of it this way: if you claim cop on d2, you have your n1 results to back you up. if you claim vig, the only thing you have to prove you as vig is the kill that you did, but anybody can claim that they killed them and fabricate a reason behind it. the results of a vig are visible to everyone when the day starts saying who they killed. it's just too easy to claim and get away with...
