If BK was scum with NotMafia, he wouldn't do that. He has the chance of accidentally painting guilty NotMafia. If that happena, BK would have to bus NotMafia or risking inconsistency.

We cannot conclude who is the actual NK target at this point. I found zero proof currently.

This discussion, is assuming Gamma Emerald is NOT the NK target.

So BK pushed the case of GE being the NK target and BK killed him...

Why?

My only hypothesis (open for rebuttal) is Ice Mafia is banking on BK--starting a scum theater. Since if GE is still alive, that would reduce the room for POE for BK.

I would like to hypothesise that Ice Mafia is banking for BK to run the lead. In another word, Ice Mafia is banking for BK to win the game.

This means BK lacks confidence on his another scum partner.

By POE, players who are largely townread which are Kmd, JoshZ, and me are out of the potential partner.

I like the idea of going for ice mafia for two reasons:
A) Eliminate one NK
B) It's easier with more info (BK's flip)

I can definitely follow your logic for Aris and have been scumreading him anyway, but I want to ISO BK myself.

Can you go into more detail why you don't think gamma was the failed NK? Is it because scum had to be shooting for each other? If so, who was still scumreading gamma and BK?

I want to put more work into this game, but unfortunately it may have to wait a few days...

Scenario A: BK201's team didn't try to shoot Gamma on the night with the cross kill, but he jumped on it to obfuscate himself to the other scumteam, who didn't shoot Gamma either, and would know other scum would know that.

Scenario B: BK201's team

try to shoot Gamma, and then last night shot him again for some reason, knowing that he was VT.

BK tries to take more and more credit for this idea, which Realeo came up with I think, later in the game. Plus scenario B is bad play. So obviously scum can jump on the Gamma-was-the-target logic, but seems unlikely he was, why would BK try to take credit for the idea so much if it was correct?

I've read the game, not gonna wall it up commenting on most of it but I'm happy to respond to any questions about specific parts.

I wanted to vote for havingfitz after reading through the game anyway and he doesn't look at all likely to be BK201's partner, not only that but he thought BK201 was scum, an opinion that carried across the replace-in. Plus I've been getting scummy vibes off the slot a bunch during my read through, 823 is something in particular that pings me now, but I had that feeling a lot. And frankly BK's reads in searching for fire mafia are worth considering, he legitimately would have wanted to lynch fire too. So I'm really happy with

Also what's the logic here? He clearly knows transcend will follow through on his threat to self-hammer as town, and knows this is terrible for town. Almost as if he doesn't care about town's winning chances.
