I am not a one-shot masonizer.
I am, however, a one-shot neighborizer, with some extra restrictions.
While my role is called one-shot neighborizer, I also have the restriction of being odd-night only. Meaning, I either use this power now during N1, or wait until N3. I intend for the game to be over long before N3. If not, I intend to be dead long before N3 via scum nightkill. Basically, I sure as fuck wasn't gonna wait for N3, so I had to use it now.

Then came the interesting part.
I have one extra aspect of my role: it's instantaneous. I cannot be roleblocked or redirected. We get same-night chat, if you haven't already figured that out. So instead of using my power N1 and not getting to talk to you until N2, and instead of there being the risk of me targeting the nightkill without us speaking, and instead of my one fucking shot being roleblocked, I could use it to form...well, this.

Thus, why I lied. I lost nothing from claiming, because claiming does fuckall for terms of blocking me. The reason I claimed one-shot masonizer is threefold.
One, obviously, to bait the nightkill, get ME dead rather than, say, a vig. Or, failing that, to bait scum's PRs onto me, like, say, having them waste a roleblock on me.
Two, because given the unique aspect of my role, I not only figured there weren't any actual masons in the game, but ALSO figured that my role might have been INTENDED to be a masonizer, given the way it works.
Three, and this is the part which got me almost recruiting Nacho, I consider neighborhoods to be masonries anyway. There's unfortunately no way for you to verify that with Nacho without giving away the gambit, but trust me, he and many others can verify that I always treat my neighbor partners as town. In this case I got to choose who said partner was, but otherwise the principle remains the same.

Which brings me to my next point: final exam time.
In spite of you now knowing that I'm NOT a masonizer, if we both live, tomorrow we claim that you were successfully masonized. This is in fact, a gambit. There's the risk of a town PR having blocked me and asking how the fuck my action went through. In that case, I can reveal that my action was instantaneous, while still holding the illusion of it being a masonizer, thus, explaining to the town why I claimed. (In fact, this may be something to do even if we're not called out on it, but I could use feedback there.)

Well one thing I could use this thread for is to give out thoughts, but we already basically hashed that out in-thread.
Katsuki is still scum, period. No matter what, no matter other reads, Katsuki is scum.
Aeronaut may, or may not, be scum.
Monokuma may, or may not, be scum. (But has a useful power to the town regardless since if they're scum they're telling the truth about their powers.)
Vaxkiller may, or may not, be scum.
Going above there, we get SirCakez as probably not, but possibly, scum.
drealmerz is personally a may, or may not, be scum for me.

Yet Katsuki? Katsuki is just scum.

I trust you. I trust Nacho. I trust Aristophanes. I also trust Prism, in spite of you not doing so, because Prism's play is just...bizarre. Bizarre, in a way I just don't think could be scum. drealmerz, could be scum, yes. Fate, could be scum, yes. (Albeit unlikely.) Prism, I just don't feel is.

And that's more or less what I have to say on the subject of reads, which is...basically what I said in thread.
I feel like the thread got way too many pages. After our initial push on Katsuki, that was the ideal time for the day to end. That was the point where the useful stuff had been said. I flat-out skimmed or skipped the rest and none of that information beyond the essentials sunk into me because it couldn't. I just had no way of processing it. I shut down, in a sense, so I went on as you saw me.

So honestly, come D2, that's where I resume from.
(Also, the proxy I use is being a royal pain in the ass, refusing to work even though right now is a low-traffic time where there should be absolutely no reason for people to be using it and yet it's overloaded. But that's the consequences I pay from having been an idiot in my youth.)

I honestly would have called him on the stuff from yesterday, but I mean at this point, he's very confident in himself, as you can see from literally any post Gin has made; Pine probably feels safe enough with the GIN-IS-TOWN stuff mastina spewed that he's going for me today.

Now THERE'S a gambit for ya. What am I accomplishing with this claim? Is it real, or is it fake?

This is FAR superior to a fake-dayvig claim.

The only person I'm absolutely certain about in this game is Mastina.

At some point I'm actually going to have to write up a case on Mastina, and I'm not looking forward to that day.

She's really, really not scum. And by really, I mean absolutely.

The claim is all anyone should need, though. She's not going to claim something that confirmable as scum, and if she did, we can very easily find out if she was lying.

The chance of it being confirmed, even as town, is low. There is very little downside to claiming the variant she claimed as scum.

Redirections, roleblocks, or simply targeting scum all make the action fail, with us having no clue why it did. This makes it suboptimal to use N1 (See BTD6's policeman quote). Depending on how well partners fare later in the game, it may turn out to be advantageous to claim masons with one.

Ok; From my perspective, it doesn't make any sense that she could have made that up.

Either way, are you seriously saying that our most optimal choice today is to lynch the claimed Masonizer? You really don't think that there is a better option than that? Because that's an awful fucking option.

Also, I literally based my entire game off of her being town, ESPECIALLY after she felt the need to claim at D3. I spent most of D1 pushing the people who were voting Mastina for bad reasons, because her being town was the best basis I could work with.

Weaksauce, we all know I hard counter claimed BTD6 and I pushed his lynch because I knew his role to a T.

We all know I was one of the main heads in the town jam and pushed HARD for SAJ and then later Katsuki on D1 when everyone was ignoring him.
