I am almost certain that this is how Alexander works. (I cannot be completely certain because FA used the colour magenta).

I basically watch who I'm loyal to and have a couple pointless geass powers. Vecna claimed at least that someone now that I'm remembering things.

Sorta similar to randoms role, he's loyal to me and has tracked me on all nights. So he can at least confirm that I didn't submit the scum kill last night.

It made zero sense to kill him if he was town, because he was guaranteed gonna be the lynch today.

Much more likely that he tried to kill you, and the alexander sent him to the afterlife.
