Oh, and especially since they know a shot on Sappho could possibly fail, so it's only gonna get harder to get TWC lynched. I was so sad when I learned you wouldn't be trying to kill us last night. I was dreaming of a world where you killed yourseld, and blew up a conftown, and my janitor kill went through on me, and made the game lynch TWC.

There was very little reason to lynch you really. :p

I really think 90% of that came from TWC having absolutely no idea what to do with themselves after we died. They were absolutely certain things were one way, and planned in the night about how to make sure I got lynched, and then received evidence they were another and had to reevaluate, and screwed it up.

Eh, we had one cool power. And now they don't have it anymore. Janitoring is okay, but it only actually matters in normal play versus Sapphos slot, since you could deny the free town confirmation that comes from masons.
Varsoons role is decently busted in a game with conftown. Either random, sappho, or sappho mason choice could have been guaranteed invent target. Kinds removes the point behind an inventor role over having someone who could do the same thing themselves with a one night delay.

The objective was to setup town to musky check conftown for us, because we had already failed a kill on one of the masons. There was also supposed to be WAY more in the way of associatives and such than we actually had time to setup, given how incredibly fast the days were.

In addition, since we knew we only had a 50% chance of the shot going through, we also deliberately played things the way town!us with our nk redirect thing would have played stuff - we would have claimed that was what we faked the IC claim, to draw fire, and we quick hammered virtuoso because there didn't seem to be any other probably lynches than ourselves+doing so would be an obvious attempt(to anyone familiar with us) to artifically increase pressure on us before we popped our IC. Basically, we were going to claim that our scummiest play was done to make good scum believe our IC claim.

Oh, and there was also the benefit of being quite likely to completely ruin TWCs ability to evaluate the gamestate/get anything done, in the event they didn't end up lynched.

About this. I, as scum, don't care about how easy or hard it is for town to communicate with one another in the game thread. I care about how hard it is for me to put in the same level of analysis as I'm capable of as town, so if something gets in the way of that, it's very problematic for me.

Good job Yume. You're also the only person talking about the obvious game solution, where there's guaranteed to be scum within Shiro and Rat. Only if Shiro were to come out saying it was a gambit, or if Rat had said less in the pt with him so he could play it off as a gambit himself, would there be any real chance that they could both be town.

Yep. Poor gerryoat. Post restriction keeping him from claiming truthfully, or claiming his post restriction, could easily give Rat an out where they lynch gerry, he shoots twc, and then it's a 1v1 between Shiro and him, where the town just needs to decide if they believe he was dumb enough to scumclaim in a pt, or Shiro was dumb enough to lie about him scum claiming in a pt. :p
