I like Lightning Rod best for CKD. Getting Lots of Action isnt as clear and is a bit cumbersome. Informant for Peers is OK but I think we should be more direct about it and just title him: Crosskiller

So Second (third?) Lightning Rod, and lobby CKD to love it.

Nominate Peers for Crosskiller.

Interesting, thats what people say about most of the things you type :P
Hehe. You're on a roll today. :D

Thinking about it again, informant is better than crosskiller. Rescind my nomination. Second Informant.

Nominate Claus for something Santa related:

Some short variation of

"making a list checking it twice, gonny find out who's naughty or nice."

Probably just "naughty or nice" or "naughty or nice?"

or "making a list. checking it twice."

EDIT: actually there's lots of other stuff in that song to choose from. It could just be "better watch out" or "coming to town".

I like Two for One Special too. One Post Wonder is ok but is pretty literal. Two at one blow is fine too if he can handle the fellatio jokes. At this point I think Guardian's own opinion wouldnt be bad.

Nah. I don't think Agreed With is better. Just a trifle TOO literally on point. Agreeable is smoother and more elegant and a more subtle hat tip to the meme. The fact that it doesn't quite hit the nail on the head is actually a bonus imho. It kind hits the new person after they see their fifth "I agree with Yosarian2" smiley sign. :)

Along that vein though, I'd go for "You Agree With..." which would at least be funny in a way.

I don't like Potentate at all (no offense, Adel).

I like shrug too. So if it doesn't change, no big deal. I think Agreeable is perfect for him though. Don't see what's wrong with it. There's actually lots of titles I don't find particularly "clever". I like it more when they are fitting. And Agreeable is very fitting for Yos2. Perfect really.

The period would make it more "interesting" yes. I've already told you guys I'll take whatever makes the threshold. But it's sad the Wanker McStickytitties was instant success, while the serious considerations aren't going over as well. Maybe its just not time.
Of course it is time. What people don't realise is that if Shea and I agree on something, it mathematically must be the right thing to do.

Im getting saddened by the resistance to titles in here, really. I can't put my finger on it but there's an odd dynamic. Seems to me, titles are mostly frivolous but make the person who gets them feel good. It's a reward for some intangible aspect of being part of the community, posting a lot in GD and MD or otherwise making your mark.

It bums me when people like Guardian and Shaft.ed don't have titles. They deserve them. So if someone comes up with one and there's no better brilliant idea, pick the best idea available, give it to them promptly, and if something better comes along, change it. Don't be so quick to piss on a title you don't like unless you have something better, and thok, if a title fight happens for someone, make a call and give them one of the titles. One man's opinion.

Also, I've been thinking about announcing in GD that this thread exists. I stumbled on it by accident, but I'm betting some people still don't even know it's here.

I'm gonna be real unpopular and say
- I thought Alabaska's original joke was the only remotely funny thing in that convo. Admittedly I had no idea what the in-joke was but Johnson Pox was worth at least a little smirk at that moment which is better than lots of stuff that's passed through here.
- the blanking of his title isn't funny or clever at all to me.

No disrespect to those with differing opinions.
