There's a difference between "I find randomness fun" and "I don't think it's a good idea to get serious".
AP: I think "awfully dumb" is excessive. I was pretty confident in my read and the chances of there being a cop in the game, much less that it specifically be leviathan, were not overwhelming. I was reckless, sure, but it wasn't completely stupid - and I may yet be proved right.#greenshirtthursdays-

If Levi actually flips town, Im not sure where Id go.
So you find it more likely that CDB quickhammered his scumbuddy without a claim than you do that CDB-scum, who was beginning to come under fire, decided to take an unclaimed townie down with him so that his scumbuddy would have an easier time winning on d3 after CDB is lynched on d2.
I mean granted I just explained that in an extremely biased way.
But once again: .

There is a difference, yes. Saying "hey implosion, there's a difference between these two things" does not address my argument. My argument is "levi's behavior can be explained very, very easily by his personality." I am not saying "levi's behavior can be explained because levi finds randomness fun." Not thinking that it's a good idea to get serious at the beginning of page two can be a personality-based thing, and I think it's frankly absurd to attribute it to alignment - if it is due to alignment, then that would imply that levi-town would generally state that it is a good idea to become serious quickly, and it's rather unlikely that levi would have an overt discrepancy in his philosophy of mafia as town and as scum. It's much more parsimonious to say that he just didn't think the game should be serious that early because that's the kind of person he is.
CDB is scum if levi flips town. I can absolutely see him hammering levi because he saw himself coming under fire. If levi flips scum, I'd be neutral on him.-

I guess I see your point. It just seems like a really sketchy hammer for CDB to make. My gut reaction was that CDB/Levi being maf/maf could make sense and CDB just did it for the credit since it looked like Levi was happening Today.
Town CDB hammering Levi w/o asking for a claim in this setup is :/. And there is definitely a cop, otherwise the setup is wack.
W/e, I could see CDB scum either way.-

"There is definitely a cop" isn't how it works. The OP says roles are drawn randomly. I agree that town CDB hammering here is lulzy, and I don't think it would happen. But I also don't think CDBscum would hammer leviscum here. Which is why i think CDB-scum levi-town.-

Oh, I guess I missed that.
But you said yourself that CDB / Levi were both the most likely lynches today. If they are a team, then CDB could have realized this and done it anyhow. Who else was going to get lynched Today? Xeg maybe.-
