Albert has not had his say yet. It is clearly Aptil and Ulctriton, or StrangerCoug and myself. Since I know I'm town, I can safely assume Stranger is as well. We simply have to wait for Albert and see who he believes.

With Ace's death, I've lost my top suspect, so I'm forced to reevaluate.

As I see it now, my suspects are as follows (towniest to scummiest): Albert B. Rampage, StrangerCoug, Ulctriton, Aptil.

Given that this is the case, I obviously feel that Aptil and Ulctriton are the last scum. Aptil has clung to the shadows throughout this game. He has never had a major wagon on him, nor has he led one. He has active lurked his way all the way to the present. Even now, when asked for a case, you go for the much easier insistence that StrangerCouf reread, cuz who could argue with that? Of course we should all be rereading, so townie points for you without you having to say anything. I think the pattern is pretty clear.

Secondly, Ulctriton has hammered (or declared intent to hammer) on a few townies. He did not post significant content on these people, he simply was the one to pull the trigger. Normally I'd say that was a bold move for scum, but the WIFOM of it could make that his strategy all by itself. He certainly would not be the first scum willing to get his hands dirty, and his actions have not only failed to generate discussion, they have quite literally stopped it.

Therefore I must vote Aptil or Ulctriton. I am willing to wait to vote either of these people, but in Aptil's case there is little point. If he and I are both townies then we've already lost. If he is scum, then his buddy isn't going to contribute to his quick lynch.

Even if Ace was not killed night 3, i would have pushed for a Banksys lynch today and left ace for the last day .But with Ace dead it had to be Banksys and Albert scum-team.Just to be on safe side , my vote was on Banksys. Well i really thought we could win this even after VA lynch .

Mod Notes:

Obviously this game is slightly marred by my early mistake with the Day 1 lynch, but looking past that... several other things fell into place to add even more nails to the town's coffin.

Every PR was claimed day 1, going into night 1 it seemed like they would be easy targets with the doctor dead. Instead of going after the claimed cop though, the scum employ a strategy to kill archeabob instead. If I remember correctly they were looking for a SK or other PR, and were risking letting the cop live. Whatever the reason, it really worked for them because the first thing archeabob says when he gets into the dead thread is:

Banksys
Salmonella
and then either Rampage(Godfather/SK) or Nachomamma

Scum kill the guy who had them pegged. At the same time, Antihero investigates ABR, leading to ABR being pronounced town by the cop. This works very well for the scum who can now kill the cop the next night, knowing there is nothing more they can gain from him. SD's proclamation that VA killed Antihero ends up being perfectly timed because even though SD was going to do it anyway, VA had actually tracked SD to Antihero and knew the truth. Instead of SD being the easy lynch, he turns it around and gets town to lynch their last PR. It was a suicide move, but it worked the best way it could have.

Thanks to all the players for sticking with the game, I appreciate you all being apart of my first mod experience. The good thing about shooting yourself in the foot the first time you hold a gun is that you never do it again.

From the Scum QT: Rampage asks SD to make sure he tells me he is certain that LLD was scum . Exactly the opposite answer that i wanted to hear it just pushed him more close to Banksys, it was sad that we were not lynching claimed PR's at that point . Day 2 we went with the same logic .

I didn't expect for SD to fake quickclaim day 1. The way that played out, it guaranteed his eventual death. With Banksys under so much pressure, my scum endgame being the weakest in my play, and still so many PRS at large, I didn't know if we would win this.

Archaebob and LLD were locked in on Banksys and nothing could deter them. There was no way that LLD was getting out of that lynch.

I thought that she was hammered like everyone else, but if I knew she was at L-2, I would have placed her at L-1 for Ace to hammer.

Archaebob was starting to figure the pieces out and too dangerous to keep alive.

The biggest danger was when SD bussed Banksys and I told them to stop whatever they were doing and vote for LLD.

We built the LLD counterwagon to banksys out of nothing, 3 scum votes, and luckily it got a lot of support from the town.

I then unvoted LLD in preparation for a hammer without claim.

Day 2 was all about getting NicCage mislynched. He was defenseless and almost didn't fight back so it was easy to do him in.

The innocent on me was meaningless if Banksys and SD were dead, since that would guarantee a godfather in the setup or the scum would be sitting ducks. We killed Nacho before he could point that out.

This is ultimately a guy that put himself and his goals ahead of all the people that were important to him in his life.

It's exactly as Mike said..."you had to be the man, you and your ego"

He would not accept Gretchen and Eliott's money to save his family from financial doom. He had to get a taste of what it was to be in control of his own destiny, unafraid of death or cancer, to sleep soundly at night and be ready for what the next day may bring...and he got addicted to it.

He was in a nice spot. If he got away with it, he would be loved by his kids, who he provided for. If he got caught, he would be remembered as a famous criminal like Jesse James. If he was shot, well, he knew he deserved it anyway.

My favorite moment in the finale was when Walt was finally honest.

"Skyler, you've got to understand...all I did..."

"I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it. And I was really...I was alive."

That was cathartic.

And it sums up the series perfectly for me. A guy haunted by his mistakes and a chip on his shoulder, going through life with a sentiment of unrealized potential. When he faces his own death, he decides to take control of his life. And he succeeds at a very high cost. He ruined his family's life, was responsible for so many deaths, hurt and damage, but he went into that final showdown knowing that he did his best to undo some small portion of all the bad he did before his inevitable death.

What a way to go.

The lesson here is you have to say what you think at that point . It is useless to not carry on to do so . I remember when you posted your innocent on Albert ,
someone(i think it was you) had posted day1 that town cop's innocent were pretty much useless . Fuck i am still new and i did not understand the setup , i just thought NicCage was seriously scum at that point.
I had it pretty straight forward whoever was on the VA lynch was scum, they should be lynched . I was hoping Scum would night kill people on that wagon only . Sadly i did not put my point across today as well .
