LyLo's have always been a weakness of mine. I think I have about a 10% winrate in games where I am still alive by LyLo and a town member.

I really liked you extending the deadlines even as scum i think its only fair to give ppl a chance to catch if the deadline is close.
I think most mods dont do it because scum could see it as disadvantageous to them.

It's definitely something that isn't standardized on site, but I think most mods do it.

It's my view that the deadlines mostly function as "gives people

enough

time to deal with the game with RL obligations, while also not giving so much that people lose interest". I don't feel that they should function as 'tick-tock' game mechanic outside of the things that I previously mentioned.

Not sure if that is a popular opinion or not, but it makes the decision to give extensions an easy one to make.

You might think that this should mean that I believe arbitrary extensions should be allowed, and in niche cases you might be right, but overall I feel like that would be abused.

In 5p LYLO I cased and got scum!KAAG lynched, in 3p LYLO I mis-hammered A50 (who basically the entire dead town was calling for that slot's head all game)

Subbed in at 8p MYLO, pushed scum!RC, didn't get wagoned, town decided to wagon a different townie, with a hilarious midnight team scum-hammer outcome (RC and Ranger basically had to out in thread to get FA to hammer, while RC was getting nervous Postie might show up to unvote)

Mini 1775 (ended after 635 though started way before)
4p MYLO, correct called the sakura/riabi/titus slot scum, no one really cared to listen, we no lynched, i died, titus won 3p LYLO

That was a bit of a lie. I changed my playstyle since that game, but that game wasn't the catalyst for it, and my playstyle isn't what I said I changed it to.
