I would think that tst~ (toast not) would be subway. Quizno's is toasted, subway is not, but I admit that I like test not better and that would be quiznos.

fml = Wendy's (female) is the only thing I can come up with.

5. Fml: Wendy's
6. Tst~ : Quiznos

I'll wait for Fishbulb's input before actually bolding, but I think we're pretty much agreed.

crnch phot...Rice Krispies? They're light in color...and not a big crunchy thing (like Grape Nuts).

Shall we bold Golden Grahams?

As some of you may be aware, I'll be hopping a plane on Thursday to go to Holland for a funeral. I'll be offline for about a week or so. My clues for hte next round have been submitted. If you think I need replacing, by all means, feel free.

crnch phot

OK - "crnch" is not in the title, 'cause that'd be cheating. But something like that must be part of the cereal name or why put it in the clue? So, crispy or cracklin' or something like that is my best guess for part of the cereal name.

Rice Krispies
Cracklin' Oat Bran
Super Golden Crisps

I don't know what the heck is up with the "phot" -- I think picture or photo is most likely rather than light...but I don't know
at all
. I must not eat enough cereal. Could it mean "pot"? Like, you cook rice in it? Or honey comes in it? I thought it might mean a hot cereal -- but what hot cereal is CRUNCHY??

Ugh. About 13 hours 'til deadline & I don't think we're gonna steal this one.

Cereals with photos on the box: Life and...I can't think of anything else but Wheaties.

Someone else pick something and bold it.

Okay, for the steals ...

Team 1 guessed:

5. Fml:
Wendy's -- correct, worth 5 points

6. Tst~ :
Quiznos -- correct, worth 5 points

This brings Team 1's Round 3 total up to 25 points.

Team 2 guessed:

huny []:
Golden Grahams -- correct, worth 4 points

crnch phot:
Rice Krispies -- incorrect, the correct answer was Crispix

This brings Team 2's Round 3 total up to 24 points.

After 3 rounds, we have Team 1 with 73 points and Team 2 with 70 points.

Round 4 will commence shortly.

Good luck and happy guessing! :)

Right now I'm thinking that the numbers might signify # of letters in the answer.

6Dust = Wild guess here: Marion/Marian? As in "Maid"?

4Simps =
Lisa

4Judge =
Judy

4TMoore = Demi's the only four-letter Moore I can think of...but what's the "T" for? And Demi's a little too obscure a name, in my opinion

5Gem =
Jewel

4Aa-o- = Could this be asking us to fill in the letters "r" and "n"?

Very good, Fishbulb! Excellent clue-giving Jaguar.

Is it Derek or Derrick?

I think Erin's it.

Could gem be Amber? That's a more popular name than Jewel.

Is amber a gem? I thought it was hard sap or something like that.

Amber is a sap resin. Sometimes it's electrical (signs of static electricity) and sometimes it contains bugs trapped. They are well preserved, and someone told me why, but I forgot.

However, Jewel is rather obscure (at least...I don't know anyone named Jewel besides the singer), and amber looks to be a gemstone. It depends on what PBug was thinking.

And I disagree with Marion, but can't come up with anything better...lemme think...*puts hand around chin with pointer sticking out and looks upward*

Maybe it is Marion...

Well, maybe we need to think of other words for Dust.

dirt
dirty
dirty Diana?

Dang - only 5 letters.

~shrugs~

Sandy? Still ony five letters. Sandra? That's a further reach than Marian...

I've usually see amber cited as a gem. I can't think of any other gem that's a woman's name & Jewel seems too uncommon to me.

Dust bunny? Bunny's not too common of a name though.

I kinda doubt Marian's on the list when "Mary" is as well, though. And Bunny only has 5 letters and the number before that clue is "6."

And I think we can bold Lisa, Judy, Mary & Erin -- we seem to be in agreement...though I don't see that we can win this game. Even if we get them all right, they contain more letters than the opposition's.

Well, if everyone agrees, we can keep going. We'll just recycle through the clue writers ... I'd be up for it.

Although, I don't know if Team 1 will be up for this. :D
