IS do you really think you can get away with this just becouse everyone assumes you are being yourself?

The same "instincts" that told you to vote for me in 007 IS? Your "instincts" are awful on both counts.

Sooth, any reason you didn't vote Cadmium this last go? I thought it was an obvious choice if your pro-town. Then again, you voted for Quercitron the first time. Hmmmmmm.... quite suspicious behavior me thinks.

This would be about the time I start gloating.

Vote: r0ver

And if its anyone else, props for being so damn clever.

Well I'm screwed. You are all mafia - I don't trust a single one of you.

Dragon Slayer - Travolta mafia
Cadmium - Travolta mafia
discer - Barbarino Godfather

4 players left. I guess that would include 1 Travolta Godfather and two Barbarino mafia. Mind you there was only one death last night which could mean i have the numbers wrong or they have alternate kills

Something is confusing me.
Night 1: IS innocent
Night 2: Cadmium guilty
Night 3: r0ver guilty
Night 4: s00th innocent

I will let you work it out.

DAY 4 FINAL VOTE COUNT

rOver - 3 (Internet Stranger, jadesmar, Soothsayer)

Though still a bit confused, Internet Stranger, jadesmar and Soothsayer quickly decide that rOver must die.
Before he can utter a word, they lunge at him. In the struggle, a gun falls out from under rOver's coat.
"Hey, how'd that get there?" says rOver innocently.
"Aha! I knew it all along," says IS boastfully.
"I've known it for a couple days now," says jadesmar matter-of-factly.
"Ok," says Sooth.

The Mod grabs the gun and finishes rOver off.

Bang!

rOver Travolta, mafia scum, is dead.

The three remaining townspeople glance suspiciously at each other before retiring to bed.
And it is a quiet night, indeed. When they meet in the morning, all are alive, and all is well.

The Mafia have been eradicated. Congratulations to Sheriff jadesmar and Townies Internet Stranger and Soothsayer, as well as innocents lost. The Town wins.

Of course we were confused! There was only 1 godfather... I guess it makes sense. No, wait, no it doesn't! AAARRRGGHHH!

Anyway, good game to all. Hive five to the Sheriff.

It makes fine sense. I mentioned in the first post that several mafiosi had been killed before the game began. Turns out it left one family Godfatherless and one Godfather familyless. :)

The setup summary:
3 Travolta mafia
1 Barbarino Godfather (immune to investigations and night attacks)
1 Sheriff and 1 Deputy (masons with 1 investigation between them each night)
1 Doctor and 1 Nurse (masons with 1 protection between them each night)
2 Armed Townies (50% chance of surviving night attacks)
2 Townies

After seeing 3-member families totally crush the town in other mini games, I think I overcompensated for it. The Barbarino had a fair chance, and I thought discer's lynch seemed totally random and lucky for the town.
Of course, the Armed Townie and Godfather roles turned out not to make a difference, really. Corsato got the wrong end of the coin, and quercitron got lynched. And discer was never investigated, and had eillid's protection the night the Travoltas attacked him.

Mike Amok, thanx for modding. No complaints at all :).

I really was hoping that Quercitron was mafia. In that case I could have lived a little longer. The lonely Godfather got me confused. I automatically thought that there were two families with each 3 members.

r0ver, you turned out to be one hell of a Travolta :). I think you played well. But no player can escape death when a cop points at him/her in this stage of the game.

jadesmar:You did it in a pretty obvious way though

But I figured that since we still had 2 Barbarino's I'm lost anyway.

r0ver: yes... imagine my surprise when I was alive this morning. :)

Me and cuban cigar also miscounted.

When he died think we figured:
IS: Travolta godfather.
r0ver: Babarino mafia.
s00th: remaining Babarino..

and s00th voting out his godfather... which is what was confusing me, more confusing when he came up innocent.

I thought the Barbarino's would surely kil you ;) Of course I couldn't know that they were still sulking over the death of their Godfather and thus decided they didn't exist :) Of course I knew something was wrong since our family did not have a Godfather but I never expected this.

I had no idea that the Travolta's were godfatherless and thus figured there were two left. I don't think it was a big jump to conclude that they were amongst those voting for Quercitron the first day. Turns out I was right. IS, you may have known what general direction to shoot your arrows in but I doubt you "knew" as much as you claim. I'll give you credit (cuban and jadesmar were clueless) for sniffing me out, a bit lucky but successful none the less. Interesting that both families went after eillid the 3rd night, had I gone after an obvious townie instead of possible Travolta the outcome may have been quite different. I was looking long and hard at killing IS but needed his help to sniff out the Travolta godfather, which didn't exist. Next time IS, next time.

Thanx to the mod, I enjoyed the game despite the results.

I love how not having a perfectly logical flawless reason for suspecting someone becomes cluelessness. You have to understand I come from a background of IRL Mafia, where suspicions and feelings are what drive the game. You look for little things, sometimes its not even expressable, but I have come to trust my instinct. And, while trying to maintain some modesty, I've been pretty successful recently in both online and IRL games.
I must admit that I am not perfect, and have led lynching mobs against innocent people, but I am definetly not the type of person to vote, or act otherwise, on "cluelessness".

I say if you lynched the right person you did the right thing if not it's all your fault. I don't like lynched mafias telling how lucky the town was, or townies who got their lynching wrong telling the poor victim, how he acted like a mafia.
I don't mind, however, the winning side admitting that they were lucky or the lynched townie telling that he might have acted as a mafia though :)

And cuban smoker: You are absolutely right. Certainty the game. Funny how even through the net you can sense people's roles.

Question for the mini game list: who killed who on the first night?
