I object. This question is clearly based on an opinion and not a fact. Therefore there is no right or wrong answer.

Overall, the game ended up being who was online when StrangerCoug was online. Maybe it could be fixed that answers are done privately, anyone getting it right get's the cash, but if more than one get's it, the amount received by each player is split from the original 5 dollars (or different value divisible by 2 and 3 :P). Then maybe give a time for the Fame Game question to come up at, so all players know and it's a more fair speed challenge.

Then comes the prizes, as it was almost useless here, sadly. Maybe it could be worked that the prizes add to total score beyond the game, like in the scoreboard. So two competitions could be going on at once: Most actual cash and most prize value!

I felt almost mean in this game! I think I might play again with some tweaks for sure!

That's time, and nothing I can do is likely to change the fact that BipolarChemist is advancing to Match Game. We will declare him the winner with $105 in the bank, and rook was indeed the intended correct answer for the last question (though I doubt there's any other chess piece that could reasonably be considered to look like much of a castle).

I don't plan to run this regularly, so anyone else that'd rather do it is free to, but I do feel that the Instant Bargain didn't work well with no leaderboard like Wheel of Fortune has. I also think the Speed Round needs to be reworked, as I went through more questions than anticipated (15 in all!) and was writing as I went at the end. The original rule on the actual 1980s show had three final questions after the last Fame Game; that rule was changed after it resulted in some anticlimatic endings (as the winner was often decided by then).

No, the correct terminoligy for it is a Rook. Much like how people go "the horesy thing" is really a knight.
