basically, the premise behind this game was that if the mafia could completely win the whole thing without either of them ever almost dying, they would win, and they collectively were able to survive multiple deaths, but once either of them avoided death even once, they'd be forced into a prisoners' dilemma scenario. hence pd mafia.

Wow, this speed thing is not for me. But glad I tried. Scum or town, I can't process that fast. Kudos to all you who can.

and just to be clear, yes, ms columbo betrayed sesq, which was why she won

ideally the goal was for the betrayed scum to have an uphill battle but still be able to win; it didn't work out that way, but that was the theory for how it could go down!

I don't think it really works that well, as lynchproof town doesn't make much sense.

agreed! I basically ran this as a proof of concept for the role, because I think used sparingly it could be the sort of thing that would work well in a larger game.

whemestar was targeted by the nightkill, but because sesq no longer had a factional kill, the kill didn't go through. basically, the timing I used was that the scum kill was the very last thing that would happen, and it checks to make sure the scum still have a kill before it happens.

I don't think it really works that well, as lynchproof town doesn't make much sense.
that's a fair point, yeah; I left a few minutes between the lynch being achieved and revealing the non-death to leave open the possibility of a governor, but you're right that unless players assume that sort of possibility, it'll look weird.

but yeah this marathon left me wanting more
i think the pd situation could possibly be interested in multiball but probably not in one team; one team is predictable and here it seems like if your scumteam is doing badly you betray and if you're not you cooperate

i thought about a governor but it didn't make sense for town governor to throw things to a no lynch without saying or implying anything
