The setup seemed interesting and unusual to me; it looked like it would make for a slow-paced game, but less predictable than normal Mafia. I was hoping to see how town would utilize the treestump mechanic, and how the arson team would plan out their kills. But largely due to the player list, the scum were sniffed out very quickly. I didn't get to see much implementing of the setup itself, but I guess this game has shown the importance of meta.

yeah the setup didn't really get exercised this time out. . I'd like to see it run a few more times.

It's a pity RBD wasn't there the last few days
I feel like they can build a town case on themselves easily

Hey now....Im suprised no one knew about this game:
http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?t=58803 .
I didn't watch as much as I would have liked, but it was cool to see someone else running this setup. If I find time I might run it again some time this fall.
Anyway, congrats to the town for a perfect win!

maybe for one day.... i was only willing to lynch in RBD quil-slot and GB... maybe sangres if all else failed. my list was bigger than most. quils replace p much limited my list to 2.

i mean i feel like i was handed a win. my town game on the forums leaves something to be desired. all my town wins were p much autopilot.
cant really say i "caught" rbd, its just that its the lynch that made the most sense at the moment. just like yuriko was d1.

as for the setup. its really swingy IMO. feels lie a tempo game. I would suspect that its fairly balanced.... with wins on both sides being one-sided.

Thanks for the game Phen! Agree that the setup didn't really get a proper test, it seems town sided to me but I'd like to see how it works when played out properly.
Super glad this is over though, didn't really know where to look if it wasn't in RBD/Soft.

Wow, that game went several game days with fewer pages than this one. I'll read through it - should show how the mechanics work much more thoroughly than we did.

My opinion after that game was balanced with swing potential so that seems to be the general consensus. Overall I think the setup is more suited for shorter days or even marathon games.

i dont want to demean RBD by saying that. you didnt have much help. lets just say this game is more of a result of yurikos failure than of our success

Nah, wasn't a particularly difficult game; both scum were fairly inactive for parts and most of the town were players that ObvTown as town naturally.
