Jack of All Trades can self-protect. (In the original game - which had a closed setup - he also had a distinctive kill method and any player he roleblocked would have been informed of the roleblock, but these should be unnecessary in an open setup.)

A less narcisstic setup name might not go amiss, either (TMM?)

Only the player receiving the most protections is protected, so if 2 people protect Alice, 3 protect Bob, and 4 protect Carl, Carl will be protected from the nightkill. No one is protected if there's a tie.

11 villagers

The werewolf features as a cult rather than a scum group, which can recruit 4 times in the entire game provided the Alpha Werewolf lives. No Werewolf apart from Alpha Werewolf knows the identity of the other werewolves. The Werewolf primary win condition is that all the villagers should be dead.

Win conditions:

1) Alpha Werewolf: Must survive, team must win
2) Recruited werewolves: Must survive, alpha werewolf must die, team must win.
3) Unconverted Villagers: Team must win. (no survival condition)

See Lost Boys (in Theme Park) for a similar game. It may or may not be as cool as you think it will be...

Potential D1 losses suck, though.

I predict that everyone talking about who they protected last night will become the major factor in this, and the Mafia trying to protect the minimum person. But the draw=no protection thing, is a little too random.

I've been thinking about Jester Mafia, and whether it's possible to make it bigger.
The last game was 7 Townies, 2 Mafia, 1 Jester.
I'm not sure whether you could increase the number of Jesters, since that would mean the Jester himself would have to be careful.

2 Jesters
Both Jesters know the other's identity, but win independently.

Clown and Jester Mafia

I like this, kinda like a Doctor Dethy. YB, I don't think tie protection is feasible, because then town would say that everyone protects the player below them in the list and mafia would be exposed very easily.

Actually, I'd like to see or play those two. Haven't examine the Reverse Mafia Nightless. So, seconded the Near-Vanilla first.

I have an idea. There are two possiblities.

Medix A

2-4 Doctors protecting one person prevents an NK.

Medix B

The number of simultaneous Doctors protecting someone has to be equal to the number of the Scum.
