RVS gives us something to focus on. We already have something to focus on: You.

An early king claim isn't the right way to go, if the King needs to claim at a later date I would prefer that it would be after we've had a decent bit of discussion, no point sounding him out immediately.
"When you play the game of Mafia, you lynch or you die. There is no middle ground."
Telo in Newbie 1280: "Also learned that you shouldn't delete your role PM. I forgot who I was in this game. When you guys asked me to claim I couldn't because I couldn't remember who I was."

It'll mislead us since we won't be really voting.
I also trust Nacho more than the rest of us.
Explain.

I've thought up a reason why the king should stay hidden: if the king outs himself, then people might not want to talk about him, since the eligible execution pool is reduced by one? That could be a reason to not out.

If he's town then I trust him to execute scum better than we are to vote them. If he's scum then he'll know his scum mate an we might be able to gather info from that.
To post ^^ : I think that not talking about the alignment of the king keeps the scum more ignorant when choosing night targets; since they won't be lynched anyway I consider that a good thing.

You didn't really answer my question, what makes him suited to that role, and how does him knowing his scum mates tell us anything, why do either of the points make him more trustworthy?
p-edit: No, I'm not the king.

Nacho is a really good player.

Nacho is a really good player.
And? What makes that any more trustworthy?

Empking and Nacho a possible team? The setup only guarantees 1 assassin, but there could be up to 3.
Don't like this post at all, looks like you're trying to shy away from the early scum vibe you've developed by speculating on the setup. Never a good thing.

In the same way that you'd trust the succesful surgeon to give you a heart bypass rather than the med student.
Klick: I expect so, the top two were as clear as day.

it can work, it's just more or less useless. votes don't count anyway. it's not even a random vote stage in this game, it's just random stage. you're suggesting we fake-vote to stimulate discussion when the whole point of RVS was using the votes to generate discussion.
why do you believe that RVS/artificial spontaneity is the only way to get the ball rolling in a game?
moreover why do you assume that The King cannot produce his own reads?
RVS is turdworthy, if you're going to do anything to get things going go with RQS.
