I only have like 30 cookies and 0 golden cookies because I got bored with the game after like 30 clicksOne time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.-

You have towatchit to get golden cookies?
Screw that. I'll just let it chug-a-lug on its own."SAULRES you are THE man! Fav mod eva, no contest!" - Bert; "Saulres is a fantastic mod, if he is running a game everyone needs to join it." - FuDuzn

This game is great for booting up, going to work, and coming home and feeling as if you've accomplished something.
Currently around 6b cps, buying the British cookies one by one because I'm too impatient to save up for the last kitten upgrade. I should be ready for a soft reset next week, hopefully in time for dungeons.Show"Shut up!" one woman shouted at another.

Damn, I'm not even making 1 billion / second yet.
I bought a lot of cheap stuff, that's probably why. Me and patience still not getting along."SAULRES you are THE man! Fav mod eva, no contest!" - Bert; "Saulres is a fantastic mod, if he is running a game everyone needs to join it." - FuDuzn

I did my first reset last night after reading up on ACs and finding out it takes nearly 30 quadrillion cookies to get 100 ACs. Even with golden cookie clicks, you're better off getting the heavenly chips once you have a decent amount. I was at about 20B CpS and I was getting one or two ACs a day on average. In post 31, Brandi wrote:Just reached my first quad, and at only 300 golden cookies too.
I think I will wait until I have 100 AC's before my first reset.Ski mask? Check! Sawed off? Check! Guilty conscience, fear of death? Check! Check! Check!

Post reset (with just over 9 quadrillion in the bank for heavenly chips, +270% CpS) I'm already back up to 1B CpS in just over 16 hours.Ski mask? Check! Sawed off? Check! Guilty conscience, fear of death? Check! Check! Check!

Ah, thank you. Yes, I'm familiar with them, as I have 53 of them chugging merrily away. And by the time I get home I think I should be able to buy the Big Bang Bake. Then I think I'm going to just let it keep running until I can buy all the upgrades before resetting 'cause that's just the way I am."SAULRES you are THE man! You are right, I decided to reset at 10 quad all time and I have gotten up really fast. I have 40 AC's already in less than 15 hours! In post 35, AGar wrote:

Well, increasing marginal costs, but it's really the same deal. If you wanted to, you could plot the intersection of the exponential marginal cost curves and the linear marginal production curves for each building, though this wouldn't actually tell you as much as it does in the standard theory of the firm. Because all costs are fixed costs and there's no depreciation, there's technicallynoinvestment that can't pay for itself over a sufficiently long time horizon, so there's no globally optimal level of production. If, however, you just picked a time horizon for which you'd be willing to play the game (one month?) and used it to calculate gross cookie production from a given building, you could lock in the ideal production setup. This is, of course, a simplified model of the game that ignores the multiplicative interaction of buildings/achievements/upgrades, the schedule of building purchases, shocks from golden cookies, and the quasi-exponential marginal production growth for late-game cursors and grandmas. Those would probably require some non-trivial numerical optimization routines to solve.
All of this is to say that the game is complicated enough to bring up lots of interesting issues in economic modeling beyond simple diminishing marginal benefits.Show"Shut up!" one woman shouted at another.

yes, but after playing for 3 minuets that was the only thing that came to mind.In post 46, NabakovNabakov wrote:Well, increasing marginal costs, but it's really the same deal. And now none of you have the right to complain when economic models make simplifying assumptions.Show"Shut up!" one woman shouted at another.
