You stop all of the active washers and driers - after the continuous noise, the silence is a bit eerie.
You then turn on
all
the washers and driers, including the ones with nothing in them. IT'S VERY LOUD IN HERE NOW!
(edit: posted early sorry, doing the rest)
Sometimes when I'm thinking of a track to submit, I think to myself "okay I could submit X, but I know a lot of people won't care for it, there's no point in wasting their time and mine". Glad to see [CaptainMeme] isn't burdened by such thoughts.
Washing Machine 10 *still* somehow seems to drown out the others. CLUNK... CLUNK... CLUNK.
Bag 2 seems to contain some very smart clothes indeed - a suit and trousers to match. The style seems quite old-fashioned, though.
The baskets are both empty.
The cheap plastic of the 'crystal' cracks immediately as you slam it down onto the desk, the fluid leaking out. You quickly smear the liquid over Merrick's name - it seems to smudge more than it actually covers, though.
You go and wash your hands, removing any traces of the fluid from them.

You turn off most of the machines again. It's still loud in here, but not quite as loud.
But 10 is still making that CLUNK-CLUNK-CLUNK noise. Sounds like something heavy is being thrown around in there.

I made an annoying mistake - the light was originating under the last Dryer, not the last washing machine.
You investigate the light under the dryer, shake it, poke around, and stuff, and eventually find the crystal causing the light.
The cause of the noisy machine 10 is yet to be identified
Luckily Captain Meme noticed it and let me know that I need to be put through a spin cycle or two

You stop 10 - as the spinning slows, so does the clunking, until it stops completely.
It looks the same as every other washing machine from the outside. There doesn't appear to be anything different about the way it's put together.

Sure, but like, how is that? Are there visible screws or anything? If not panels that have gaps big enough I might be able to get something wedged in there?
There are a few visible screws at the top and bottom. You could probably lever the top off if you could unscrew them.

While you are looking at the machine, you notice something you find a little unusual. A 100 dollar bill floats through the air from the office. It approaches the door of the laundromat, which opens, and then it continues to fly out to the eatery.
