Yes, shos, that's all I've been advocating: claiming the previous day's room and action.
Baby, there are a bunch of items, I think it's fair to say at least some of them relate to movement and position.
If town tells the truth, (which, you know, they should), we'll be able to catch scum by finding out who's been lying.
It doesn't matter if we know what room people die in. If they tell us what room they were in the day before, it can eliminate people from the suspect pool.
Scum really don't have much to gain from knowing where people were yesterday and what items they used.
When we approach LyLo or something, we can start discussing not claiming so scum can't narrow down people's positions, but for now it's the dominant strategy to claim.Wandering but not lost-

Here's the problem with revealing rooms: scum can kill in their room or in adjacent rooms. This means that if one reveals location as Fountain or Gazebo, the only place to go the next night is the Courtyard, and even the next night said person is guaranteed to be killable from the Courtyard barring object interference. Those are the most egregious examples, but depending on where scum are, the adjacent thing pretty much leaves a lot of open targets with multiple scum alive. I'll reveal rooms for the night before last but not last night.
What about claiming objects? Most anyone aside from scum is going to use them when possible for their purpose, and it keeps scum from fake-claiming actions with some until then unused object.
I dislike that Jake hasn't addressed the case he made on Malakittens, but Baby Spice's ISO is scummier. Between her entire time on the Malakittens wagon and her redirect to finding out people's rooms and whether they know who else is there with them, everything seems to come from a scum stance.
VOTE: Baby Spice-

What was I supposed to address about my case?Robbed of a scummy for what had to be the best unvote in mafiascum history.
Sometimes I get heated and don’t realize it. If I get like this please somebody tell me to take a break and chill out. Thanks in advance.-

Now THAT is a good idea, with no possible scum motivation behind it.There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

Mostly that you made it, although I was ijnitially looking for shos's take on it. Here's the exchange:

my case had almost no resemblance to Shos's case.
Shos's case on mala revolves around her being defensive/overreacting.
My case is about her trying too hard to appear town.Robbed of a scummy for what had to be the best unvote in mafiascum history.

penguin I disagree. claiming items is of no use for now. when we massclaim, scum will be forced into claiming that they used an item that scum actually had...In post 836, Lucky2u said:

Item drops are ramdomised, they're as likely to appear in a populated room as an unpopulated one.
Really not seeing a downside to moveclaims at this point.-

Basically, if scum is adjacent to an announced location, they can move there and shoot. Unless you mean claim where we start each night before moving. Which still leaves anyone in the locations above as sitting ducks. I will go with shos's stance that object claims aren't necessary at present.-

I just thought of another reason we might not want to disclose items. Scum might have the ability to steal/swap an item with someone else. If not everyone has an item, then we might make scum waste an action trying to steal from someone with nothing to steal. So, if we do disclose items, I think it should be after the item is used, so that scum can't easily find where it is again.-

That's an interesting thought by Jen. I have some ideas for the basic clue items, but I doubt they are the same. I played another clue game on a different forum, but we had less items, but what we did have were strong. No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.

clearly everyone will claim to have used the item for its intended purpose. I'm assuming fabricating results should not be hard.
