At some point I will be compiling a "list of things to do in chicago." with accompanying prices. I don't know your interests so its hard to say what would be good for you off the top of my head right now.

From what I've heard, the shedd aquarium is pretty incredible. I've never been, but that's mainly because you never end up doing touristy things in your own city. Everyone I know who has been has said it's great though.
