So in my last bunch of posts I accused Joe of having missed a point in his strategy, but actually rereading it he's corect given the assumption that he's town.
I'm way more comfortable assuming Lane is town than Joe, so I'm just modifying his strategy so that we lynch Joe and force scum to shoot Lane rather than the other way around. Either way we're lynching Elmo today.
Given that this means I die tonight, I can't convince you tomorrow to follow my strategy. So I'm not voting until I see a consensus that Lane is townier than Joe. I'd also like McMenno to tell me his feelings on Alpaca vs. Lion.
“Of course it's my fault. There's no one else here who could be responsible for anything.”
We lynch elmo, scum shoot umlaut. Then we lynch alpaca. Unless there's 2 scum in me mcmenno guilty and Java, we'll make it to Lylo with probably guilty Java and me.
@guilty, I'm thinking scum is Java and alpaca, and they killed wing to keep alpaca alive.
That gives scum a free choice of N3 kill, though... I assume they'd kill McMenno leaving us with three unconfirmed in lylo, vs. lynching Java which gives us a Guilty-Alpaca 1v1.
I guess your plan is better assuming Elmo actually does flip town, since we absolutely must lynch scum on D3 in that case and based on the nightkill I think Alpaca is more likely scum than Joe now.
“Of course it's my fault. There's no one else here who could be responsible for anything.”
It doesn't matter if they have free night kill. Alpaca will be dead. Who the scum are trying to keep alive. I don't care if they have mcmenno, guilty, Java, and me to choose from. That's the scenario I first came up with and I still like it
In post 273, Ümläüt wrote:Actually, lynching Luna and then Joe could work for me. Assuming one of them is scum (and I do), Mafia is forced to kill Lane leaving McMenno around for lylo. Then we lynch the scummier of GL or Alpaca (hint: it's Alpaca).
Obviously you're going to be less impressed than I am with a plan where scum is forced to kill you over McMenno, because (given that you're town) you know you're town whereas I'm only pretty sure. Are you sure you'd feel the same way about it if you were standing in another slot? Because that's not really a reason you can sell to someone else.
That said, I could do the Elmo-Alpaca plan, so I'm content.

I feel like alpaca is a lot more likely to be scum than lion

The only reason I'd like to say lynch alpaca is he's most likely scum. And the outside, like way way outside chance he's scum with guilty, I'd like alpaca dead. However, lynching Joe leaves confirmed town alive for lylo. So idk. That is my objective thoughts. Or subjective. Whichever I mean lol.
I agree with the lynch Elmo today followed by java tomorrow plan. Of course it means nothing coming from me, but I know it's not a Guilty-Alpaca team so the only way we'd lose is a Lane-Alpaca team, and at the moment I'd be willing to bet the game on Lane being town.

Just checked to confirm Lion been pushing hard on Alpaca as scum D1. This makes me feel better about the Elmo-Java plan, since we were not settled enough on a lynch for you to be bussing the shit out of your partner like that if you were scum and so Guilty-Alpaca is a very unlikely team.
Honestly I'm pretty confident that we've called the scumteam and either strategy will work. For that matter just straight-up lynching Alpaca and then Java would work if we're right, but just in case we might as well keep playing TTT as well.

If we're killing Elmo then I'll be dead tonight (or else we win tic-tac-toe by lynching me tomorrow).

Elmo, do you understand the setup? Thinking someone is scum is not the only reason to lynch them. In particular I'm pretty confident the scumteam is Alpaca/Java. This is a tactical choice.

You're just a place holder unfortunately. Sorry. Thanks for replacing in though lol.

I still think it's Elmo-Alpaca and if Elmo flips scum then we auto-win

then we lynch javajoe as he is most likely scum remaining. If you're opposed to that you better spend the day campaigning on who would be a better D3 lynch.
