It is perhaps the goblins’ delicious — most other races say “dangerous” — sense of humor that gets them into the most trouble. Bring up the exploding sheep incident of the war against the Burning Legion in any tavern in Booty Bay and the goblins there roar with laughter and buy you a drink, each desiring to tell his or her own version of the story.

The tales differ, but most agree that after the Burning Legion had invaded the plague-ridden Lordaeron, most people were dead, undead or fled. One, a goblin tinker merchant traveling through the town, started making mechanical animals to distract any Burning Legion demons so that he could make his slow and panicked way south. One of these devices was cobbled together from wool, wood and some primitive clockwork. On a whim, he decided to fill it full of explosives and have it totter towards the demons. When it exploded, he decided, he would flee in the chaos that followed.

He didn’t expect a demon, a dim-witted felguard, to pick up the sheep and inspect it. He damned himself for outfitting it with a timer and not a remote, but he nearly squealed with glee with the curious demon popped the treat into its mouth. The resulting explosion of demon parts was definitely enough for the tinker to get away, laughing so hard he nearly gave himself away.

No, not trollish at all. Has been in the game since the beginning. Was one of those Easter eggs in Warcraft 2 - keep clicking on a sheep (or any critter I think) and it would explode into a paste though it did not hurt anything. ABR gives some more interesting flavor elements as well.

I still do not see how this matters though - he is still 3rd party. Further, if he is telling the truth then a simple straight lynch may not activate him at all. I don't know what the threshold is and he either does not know or is not sharing it at this time.

No I mean. I know about the explosive sheep the thing is I find it to be a trollish flavour to give. I mean who wants to be a sheep.

Also I find it odd that fire said that it makes no sense that he explodes when it does.

@Shiro I never played Warcraft II, I played three and I don't remember a exploding sheep at all.
That didn't make sense when I read my role card.

I guess lore wise now that some people explained it, it makes sense? W/e. I agree its a troll mechanic for this game.
Its also odd that you have a survivor that explodes. Never seen that before in a forum game.

Bleh his flavour seems legit(even to the point that it says click as he mentioned before) and I can see the mod putting mechanics (exploding survivor) based on flavour seeing as I also have such a thing.

I don't think he is the survivor, and his post #247 tells me that he is mafia who is trying to claim survivor. And since people expect that to be a desperation move by mafia. They wouldn't expect someone to do that early on.

Really the question I think you should be asking is would it matter?

He claimed 3p - true 3p. A vote there has exactly zero percent chance of hitting town.
