The only thing I'd say is that I don't know if I'd agree that the shifts "didn't work" since the game finished and most people had fun, but I certainly agree that it wasn't optimal from a design standpoint.

I do want to reuse the mechanic in some way, so you'll definitely get a PM when I do.

PM me too, i love this game and would love to work it out. I think it has a good amount of potential.

@Bro, well it's the first and probably only game where ika and I didn't scumread each other...but then we couldn't talk to each other so it doesn't really count

The scum had the misfortune of Titus being absurdly accurate on day one.Really quite impressed by that.~Drixx

You're letting Titus win the game by herself.Good luck now I guess. You have no chance to win.~Tywin

I think it would have been better for one of them to have been scum actually. That way if the WERE lynched (which you have to admit is pretty likely. Lovers don't just SURVIVE. Please.) we weren't just losing a couple of strong power roles.

You would have had to balanced the scum side vs the town side yeah but I think that creates a more balanced effect overall without changing the presence of the role.
or something like that....

Just read the deadthread. Laughed so hard at every person post death being like "fuck why is hiplop alive"

Really glad my internet survived FWIW

Serene and zoraster won this game for us oddly enough

I noticed this game favored strategic lurking a tad too much (pressure would build but by the time it was my shift was mostly forgotten and could shift focus to like ika or something)

rob's responses to marquis's obviously joke and bullshit post were unnaturally scummy and he gets very flustered after 3 votes were put on him

additionally, he starts whining about policy lynch and getting fearful despite none of us ever mentioning the idea of policy lynching, or even truly lynching him for that matter

his overreaction is in a very scummy fashion that is hard to explain,

lots of others have expressed rob scum earlier on regarding parroting of reads etc but those weren't a major scumtell to me. now, i have identified rob as a very potential scum.

can you relook at his recent posts after marquis's big post and see if you find anything that resonates with my views?

If you're on him for being caught for the wrong reasons, can you please continue the attack, it may get obvious if it's the case or not.

In post 692, Quilford wrote:Be precise in your reads and your explanations of your reads.

Lies, you didn't like my precision in banakai's leaving of the bugle wagon.

Actually that's probably true, as I'm not sure I like it anymore either.

is this a...misplaced post which was supposed to be placed elsewhere?

cos I got excited for a minute when I thought that more people were going to tell me how bad I am at mafia.

I'm fairly sure you're not actually that bad. Except occasionally where you don't make sense.+-

I feel like that's what everyone does when someone scumreads then regardless of alignment.
