If we're currently under the assumption that there are more roles than players and they cycle in and out of rotation, then I find it strange that the role isn't stated as simply putting itself back into the pool and not bring given out that Night when it targets scum

I think it's very relevant to clarify whether it actually confirms your role is 'randomly given to someone' and what that means and whether it guarantees that someone else will definitely have your role the next day or whether it's possible for it to be randomly tossed out

Yeah I worded it poorly. If it targets scum/dead player (or if the Caterer is interfered with, missed this initially) then it is randomized with the rest of the roles. There's no guarantee someone will have it the next day in this case

The way firebringer describes alisae's involvement in the game when he's talking about reads is extremely active and insistent.

etc. It feels like he really wants us to think that Alisae is super invested in the game and following along.

I had a pretty decent town read on him day 1 while he was here, but that has slowly degraded.

I don't scum read him for inactivity because I don't think fb is prone to lurking as scum but I have been getting increasingly more nervous about him because his pop ins while he was here felt incredibly underwhelming and directionless to me. I'm used to firebringer having more thoughts on the game and while that could very reasonably be a consequence of no time to play it can also be coming from not really having much of an idea who to push as scum in an increasingly smaller PoE.

The thing about Titus is that for me she feels obstinate in her reads. It's like she does not want to reconsider. And I feel that when she is asked about her reads she vaguely says she has explained it already, but she kind of hasn't beyond very surface level reasoning. Which makes it weird that they aren't willing to reconsider at all.

It felt extremely candid and genuine in a way that I think Klick sometimes struggles to replicate as scum. Idk sometimes in games I have these moments where I've just been butting heads with someone the whole game and then finally something they say to me clicks in a way something hasn't before. Maybe this won't be super convincing to you because its pretty linked to me specifically but still felt worthwhile to share.

Still don't feel super confident about klick but I feel better than I do about titus.

I don't think those things are dissonant at all. Both town and scum can go into survival mode but I think when talented, logical players do it, it reads a certain way. Like calm, but also desperate. Also, me being way more convinced that you are scum over Titus has much more to do with my read on your survivalism so there is no harmony intended with these two statements
