FOS: Mike Amok

He seemed to change his mind on r0ver's guilt (or at least the "some of you are a bit over-eager to lynch r0ver" post gave that impression), yet still kept his vote on discer. It doesn't really add up, but on the other hand it's certainly not enough evidence on which to base a vote...

mole, I didn't change my mind on rOver's guilt, because I never had
that
much reason to think he was guilty. And discer happens to be one of the people voting for rOver. So what doesn't add up?

r0ver has/had 4 votes and a few FOS's. doesn't it make sense that he would claim cop and ask for protection? it's not like we have any real info to go on and we do have to lynch someone. i dunno........ i suppose i could be wishy-washy and change my vote.

It makes sense, if I'm mafia but not if I'm a townsman.
Some of you thought it perfectly allright to lynch someone who is most probably a townsman but could also be a mafia. Maybe lynching someopne who is 25% mafia 75% townsman is a good idea. With 30% mafia 70% cop it's just not that obvious.
It's deadline next morning and I still have the most votes :(
Unvote: jesternl, becouse he's the only one who unvoted me. He easily could have got me lynched, so he's probably not mafia.
And
vote:discer
, becouse he wants me dead so much. I think he's afraid that the cop wil heal me, so he wants to be sure that the cop is dead.

It was supossed to be doc. So yes, exactly what you "put in my mouth". It wasn't exactly a typo, but not a slip either. It's just that I was thinking faster than typing. When I was typing "I think he's afraid that the
cop
wil heal me" I was thinking about the part "so he wants to be sure that the
cop
is dead." So it got mixed up.[/b]

OK, I have no idea what your numbers mean, r0ver, but I'd rather not take the chance that we'll lynch a cop (at least until we're more sure if he's a "special" type of cop or a regular cop or not a cop at all). So I'll
vote: discer
, because that's the other bandwagon, and the chance we have to keep r0ver alive until we can figure it out.

Well, I can understand r0ver's typo (see my post in Improbable: "I mostly believe Cadmium... So I'll go with the flow and v for Cadmium" where nobody was voting for Cadmium and the bandwagon was for eillid)

So I will
Unvote r0ver
and
Vote discer
to avoid lynching the cop the first round.

It seems that discers predictions on my future proved to be... inacurate.
discer has 7 votes.
Just a note. I can only find out if someone is mafia or not. So the serial killer has no reason to vote me. Indeed he or she has as much intrest in my survival as the town.

It seems that no-one can stop a bandwagon when it is in full force. Discer is quickly taken to the gallows but can he really be the one to blame for all the deaths in the town?

Looks like he was.

Well done you have lynched the Cagliari Godfather.

It is now night - email deadline Friday am

As night falls and the weary inhabitants make their way to their beds, some people decide not to go home at all.

In the morning it wasn't long before the town noticed that their beloved doctor was missing. On rushing to Jalyn's house it is clear to see that Jalyn has been the lastest victim of the mafia.

Jesternl was feeling quite smug about his kill last night and drifted off to sleep after a drinking a nice cup of hot chocolate. That would be his last drink of his life as it was poisoned. The serial killer has struck again with poison - seems like the SK always does things the same way.

Jesternl (Valleta mafia) and Jalyn (Doc) have been murdered.
It is now day - please vote - deadline Thursday 13 June
4 required for a lynching

Ok... looks like the Cagliari mafia are no more... :)

So what now? I'm not sure if the cops can identify the serial killer, since they only get 'not mafia' results, and if the godfather has his usual immunities then it's going to be difficult to find them both. :(

That's why jesternl insisted on two families :)
I investigated mole and then DP and both are innocent. Not that it tells us anything new.

We have seven people left, at least two of whom are bad. I don't think we'd start with more than half bad, and six bad roles, 2 Caglilari, 2 Valleta, 1 Mafia Spy, 1 SK, have been established, so I think those are all the bad guys.

Among the six good guys, we probably have
1 regular cop
1 SK hunter
1 doctor
3 others

It feels weird to say this on the second day, but should we put our cards on the table now? I'm willing to show my hand if others are.

I am quite happy to do so. Even on the second day.

1. My role is currently useless.

2. My role will always, it appears, be useless.

I am the Retired Cop. I'll become a Cop, I assume, when the current one dies. If the only bad guys left are the Godfather and the Serial Killer then I'm no use.

So, basically, I'm a bandwagon-happy Townie. And with 4/6 bad guys out (this is again assuming 6 and not 7 or 8 or some crazy number) we're in good shape.

Don't shoot! :D

I'm a cop. yup, looks like we're useless. :(

If it does matter though, I found Jalyn and Mike Amok were both "not mafia".
