My point about MME is

when

he claimed to have found a parallel. It was before my 3rd post, when I had posted 5 words and a vote. He also said that he didn't want to state what the parallel was.

This all leads me to believe that he didn't actually find any actual similarity that makes sense (he posted in this game and he also posted in his scum game, MUST BE SAME ALIGNMENT!), and it was 100% bullshit. Ergo, my vote on MME.

This makes me even more suspicious. This is basically saying "regardless of bullshit reasons I had before, I'm

suspicious now". I feel like this is too early for confirmation bias to be setting in, unless he was just REALLY paranoid of my scum play, looks like he's trying to find reasons to leave a vote on me.

Now had he come in and said "Alright that was a reaction test there wasn't any parallel and because of ____ reason I find his reaction scummy" that would look like town play scum hunting. This isn't that.

But I screwed up this meta read by jumping too quickly onto you. I should have waited it out more, but I got so damned excited.

I did find a (weak, mind you) parallel. And I found it was more than enough for voting you. It doesn't matter how many words were in that post or how many weren't. There's intent. Want to know one of my few meta reads on you so far? You avoid getting on a wagon early game. You did so last game, you're doing so now. Guess what your first post was in that other game. Hint: it's not a wagon vote. I wanted to wait it out more, see what votes you were going to place, but I got too excited.

And then pie comes in to play and posts that list, which only cemented my initial read of you. Which might have been swayed to a town read, had your reaction not been what it was. But, wait! There's more:

Secondly, as soon as a wagon (even the slightest hint of) starts while you're on it, you get off the wagon. Take a guess when you took your vote off of SoS (hint: after pie voted her). Thirdly, you're twisting my words again. When we went into full on debate in the other game, that's all you did. I remember the scumslip you claimed to have seen. You voluntarily twist words:

This in no way means I don't stand behind that meta read. No matter how hard you try to twist it. It means that I don't like your reaction to the read, regardless of the read being right or not (objectively, subjectively I think it's correct). Want to know why this leaves a bad taste in my mouth? I don't want to be posting ICE disclaimers again. Want to know why I posted those? Because you twisted my words at every turn to get me incriminated.

I'm still not sure you're scum because of those parallels, as the meta might be wrong, after all it's still one game, but your posts scream your scumplay so loudly I can't ignore it. I needed more time and information but I jumped the gun way too early because your two-three posts really fit the play and it got me excited that I found ICEscum. But I'm not liking your play one bit: if you're so certain that my meta read of you on that one post is wrong, you shouldn't react this defensive. A meta read is a tool to read someone, a minor tool, not something that defines everything. I could have been swayed had you replied differently. You are way too hard on the defense over something so "trivial" (for the lack of a better English word). The only thing I can think that warrants you being this defensive is that you are scum.
