It's Erwin.
The Ropers
were the original landlords on
Three's Company
. It starred Norman Fell and, um, some lady who played his wife.
Are you known primarily for one accomplishment/invention/achievement?
Are you, or have you ever been, married to Dennis Quaid?

Current gov. of massachusetts is Mitt Romney (and he's a prick, by the way. But that's a discussion for somwhere else). Also, I forgot to mention that the comedian was Brian Regan when I asked my last general.
General: Were you an author of some sort?
Next stumper: Are you Roger Ebert's co-worker?

Are we allowed to discuss the possibilities with each other in the thread, Cadmium?
If so, then: I think she is from Germany, should we ask that?

Sure. In fact, any ideas about the generals should be discussed here for optimal gameplay (this becomes important when we arrive at the last few generals).

I have to add here, "Are you from" and "Did you live" are two different things. And no, I'm not implying that she's from Spain

Rod Roddy was the announcer for The Price is Right.
Holding off on my general. Is there anything that says that your person can't be a fictional character? Or, for that matter, that we can't ask stumpers about fictional characters?
Holy crap, I forgot this site existed.

Good point, korais. I've never tried a fictional character because I'm sure I'd get a question that I wouldn't know how to answer, such as "Is he alive?" or "Is he dead?"

My character could be fictional, just like you can ask stumpers about fictional characters.
If a question should arise that could cause problems when answered with simply yes or no, I'll tell (like "did you live" and "are you from").

Are you sure you want to ask this question? There are only three generals left:
Are you still alive? No

I have a general in store, anyone have good ideas?
