FTR:

Mono never made sense as a Thor partner. ever. I didn't want to defend her because I suspected she was PR and I wanted scum to not NK her.
Lynch order for Thor partners is Grendel -> Orange for me here.

If you want to persuade me to vote Orange first then throw some reasoning at me.

I thought it was fishy how Mono didn't vote Thor until right after I mentioned that she hadn't voted Thor. Also how little interaction the two had bugged me, like when Thor didn't go after Mono when she listed him as a scum read.

Sure, I can provide an actual case on Orange tomorrow, I'm retiring early tonight.

Okay, starting from the top.

Thor joke voted Orange’s slot in the beginning of the game. I’m pretty sure that’s a common scum tactic. Col mongoose said some fairly ambiguous things too. He voted Thor then unvoted with no real explanation either way. Thor even pushed to get an explanation from Col Mongoose’s reasoning, and his response was something like, “I’m a newb, so idk if i should be voting”, then later elaborated again with, “I voted Thor b/c he voted me”, at which point when i started talking about how i thought that Col Mongoose was using his newness to avoid discussion, in response Thor cleared Mongoose as newb town on his radar in post 92.

Then Orange came in, and one of the first things he did was start pressing this weak case on Hobbes based off of post 30. He droped it after Hobbes post 161, but it may have more to do with Micc not buying Orange's case. Orange voted Cobalt with the intention of furthering a case against SugarJan, but he never brought it up again. His reasoning that “well she isn’t posting enough”, isn’t a very good excuse to lynch somebody imo. Going off of D1 I’d assert that SugarJan would be far from a frequent poster on that day. Oranges jump from Cobalt on D1 to Pants D2 seems like trying to look good by being on the popular wagon. He even jumped on me for not voting Pants in my opening post that day.

239, and 241 is interesting b/c Orange appears to be trying to deflect suspicion away from Thor, despite RC’s vote mainly being placed to get a reaction from Thor. Orange had no motivation as town to question RC here, but did anyway. He was the first to vote Thor which is odd move for a scum, and that probably was most townie thing he has done. That being said he didn’t reason as to why he felt that way aside from post 439, which isn’t that much info honestly. I could see Orange realizing the direction things are taking, and hoping to distance himself from Thor. OR he might not have expected Thor to have been lynched at first and only kept his vote on him so as to not seem suspicious by unvoting that day’s wagon.

Today Orange was okay with a Monolynch, using a clip from Hobbes’ 485th post for reference (As it turns out we both used that post as reference for opinions today heh). Now he’s moving to Pants, which I’m really -ehh- on, since i’m leaning town on pants. Hobbes suspected orange in post 252, btw, and while it wasn’t Hobbes last thoughts by any means I could see Orange worrying that Hobbes could start seeing him as scum again, and NKing him. Especially useful night kill if he could use that to get Monogarden lynched. Remember at the start of day two when Thor used Micc’s death to try and make me look scummy? It looks like Orange was doing that same thing today. He knew I’d push for a Monogarden lynch, and by using Hobbes’ death to incriminate Monogarden he could easily convince Pants to get on the wagon.

A bit of a side note, but Thor also questioned orange's slot less then average. I counted Thor's interactions with other players as I looked through the pages, and Thor interacted with/questioned Orange a total of 10 times, (and only about 8 of those were meaningful), where as Pants, Hobbes, and I were 12, 12, and 15 respectively. RC is huge outlier at 29, and Mono was at the other end of the spectrum at 5. I'm of the belief that Scum interact less with each other then with townies, and here Orange isn't questioned as much as the rest of us.

The reason I included Hobbes that he was alive by the end of D2 and there for could be used to better find the average. The average btw is 12.25 without Mono, and RC. Including everybody it's 13.33. Its not too big a deal, but I still find it interesting to think about.

I thought Thor's post-hammer reaction was town so I complained to the mod about how ridiculous this game was and how I wished I never replaced into it.

On top of that, I was pretty unstoppably deathtunneled on town, had scum in my top townreads, and the main reason I lynched the scum I did was more because of misplaced associatives and because I was getting super pissed and sick of their terrible play than legitimate scumreads.

At least I figured things out today. It was pretty easy to solve on reread.

I was being very honest (beyond alignment) in my reaction to that wagon on me. It was really bad for the reasons I said. The result was good and pro-town, but the logic behind it was nonexistent, and the votes bad.

The only thing you did badly was how you hammered people.
You were kind of handing scum a mislynch on you by doing it that way.
I actually thought your play near endgame was the best of any of the still alive town players in expressing thoughts clearly.
Basically - just sort out how you hammer and don't do that anymore.
