0: The wind knocks you down hard. Take one die of physical damage. Put one of your items, (if you have one), in the Entrance Hall.

Each roll only affects the explorer making it.

The old and crazy woman said you should drink this potion that glows with an amber light. Maybe that's how she got so old and crazy.

Once on your turn, you may drink from the Vial. Roll 2 dice.

0: Poison! Take 2 points of physical damage.
1: Vision and dreams. Take 2 points of mental damage. Draw an item card.
2: Failed experiment. No effect.
3: Invigorating tonic. Gain 1 in any physical trait.
4: The blood of something unknown. Gain 1 in each trait, but Sanity. Lose 2 Sanity.

I meant if you roll Xd6-X you get 6 dice that roll {1-1,2-1,3-1} i.e. {0,1,2}.

What you are doing is dice that roll {1,2,0}

So the distribution of Xd6 3s are 0s and Xd6-X are the same but you don't have to manually work out the total with the latter

Do you mind very much if we switch to this? It’s just a bit easier mentally than having to pick out the 3’s, and high rolls stay high and low rolls stay low
