So... we have a wagon and a counter wagon. And I'm too tired/lazy/apathetic to attempt a classic Yates gambit right now to kickstart some action so it's on you guys to figure this one out.

Here's an idea to kickstart it. VOTE: Yates

And everyone else vote for Yates until he stops being "tired/lazy/apathetic" and starts acting like a villager again.

This whole, "Let's only post to complain about how no one's posting or make excuses for how I'm not posting" thing isn't getting us anywhere. Let's use the power of our votes!

See, the problem is that I sympathize with him.

CD, it's rather strange (read: to some extent scummy) that you asked me "why" in response to a statement that contained the answer to the question of "why."

Meh. I don't have much to say right now. I'll probably vote TR tomorrow.

My head and gut disagree on what he'll flip, though.

Town apathy kills towns, so I'm a little pessimistic about this game right now. I can't really complain when I'm not a beacon of unfettered energy myself, but still... It is what it is.

Yeah I was kinda feeling like surviva towards Yates, But I didn't think that, having a bad attitude and being that aggressively defensive was Good enough reason to put a vote on him :s

Let's go deeper then, because posting that you're lazy means you're not actually lazy compared to the people that aren't actually posting - who you then want to kick start the discussion.
Why it's your public laziness unable to start something that someone not even posting would be able to do?

nah. I don't expect the to. I expect the other people who are posting to. "Less lazy than X" does not equate to "not lazy."

There's also a certain degree of apathy which, while I agree it kills towns, is difficult to fight.

But the fact we were stalling in the first place means that people that were posting had nothing to get the discussion working.

You're pretty obvious town regardless of TR's flip.

Can I ask why you think he's town?

There's no strategic advantage to lynching TR now. The only reason we would do it is because there's a 0% chance anything of value's gonna come out of the rest of the day, so regardless of what we do today's a lost day and, fuck it, this game's supposed to be fun so we'll opt with the least tortuous of the two options.

If the hypothesis is that nothing else is going to come out of the day then ending it more quickly will save everyone time and boredom.

Sitting around doing nothing for a week will only fuel the apathy.

There is also no strategic value to pointlessly dragging a day out when it's clear that we aren't lynching anyone else.

Before we go to night, I'd like to quickly remind the vig that it's VERY important that he/she shoots again tonight to put us back on an odd number.

By the way, if TR flips scum, Yates is practically confirmed scum (and would make a good lynch for tomorrow or vig shot for tonight) for the way he has tried to stall the momentum on this wagon with his "blah blah blah this game is boring and sucks" and the way his ISO contains virtually no commentary on Team Rocket despite them being a major target both yesterday and today (seriously ISO Yates and ctrl+F "Team Rocket" and "TR")

Well. "Confirmed scum" is an exaggeration. But I think he is very likely to flip scum if TR does.
