What an eventful few weeks it had been for Juliet. Wanting more than anything to be with her beloved Romeo, she took a special potion to appear dead so that she may escape her family and run away with Romeo. She sent word to Romeo of her plans. But something has gone terribly wrong for she has awoken to find dear Romeo dead at her feet. Her nosey neighbor, William, would have you believe that Romeo died by his own hands and Juliet stricken with grief joined him in death using the very same weapon. But I am here to tell you a different story. How do I know this? Because I am Juliet. I go by Juls now for I live in fear that Romeo's killers will return. I escaped that night but I need your help to find Romeo's real killers. They are a dangerous gang of thugs who are trying to take over Verona. They started by killing the strongest families, the Montagues and the Capulets, and it won't be long before they get to you too. You must kill them before they kill us all.

Game Rules

Game Mechanics

1.)

Votes must be

bolded

and in a form similar to

Vote: Playername

. If I do not see your vote, it will not count. Unvotes are nice but not required.

2.)

Lynches require a majority of votes (50% of the active players +1). If a 50% + 1 majority is not reached by deadline the person with the most number of votes at deadline will be lynched. If there is a tie for most number of votes, the person who received the tie vote first will be lynched.

3.)

No Lynches require only 50% of the vote to occur.

4.)

If a lynch occurs, the game enters twilight and players may continue to talk in thread until it is locked and a death scene is posted. No votes/unvotes will count in twilight.

5.)

Dead players cannot talk. Once you are killed/lynched. Do not post in thread. Not even a "bah!" post.

Deadlines/Activity

6.)

Each day will last up to 3n days where n is the number of players currently living.

7.)

Players may request one deadline extension of one week during the game.

8.)

Treat this game as a commitment. If you are going to be V/LA please post in thread or send me a PM. I do not check the V/LA thread.

9.)

Players must post every 72 hours (unless they have noted V/LA) or they will be prodded. Three total prods during the game will result in a replacement. Players may request prods of other players at anytime but if the 72 hours has not passed since their last post the prod will not count toward the three prods. I will use my discretion when sending these types of prods (I won't be your personal spam-bot).

10.)

If a player fails to pick up their prod within 72 hours they will be replaced.

11.)

Each night will last approximately 72 hours, during which time all night actions must be submitted via PM.

I am so glad you decided to help but I am afraid I have learned some troubling news. The murderers of my beloved Romeo are among those who have decided to "help". While it narrows down the pool of possibilities, it puts you in even more danger than before. The killers will stop at nothing until all of Verona is dead or at their mercy. They will not take your efforts to expose them lightly. Be careful and good luck.
